but i have questions; you send midi to the digitakt THRU to IN to the roland ? and i see you can control the SHD with the keystep , but it's wired on the digtakt..
Also sometimes i lost the control of the drum part of the SHD when i sequence whith the dgtk ..

The connections are:
MIDI:
- from Keystep Out to Digitakt In (set Keystep's MIDI ch to Digitakt's ctrl ch wich is 10 by default)
- from Digitakt Out to SH-4d In (each track's MIDI channel must be the same between the two instruments, say track 1 on Digi and SH on ch 1, track 2 on ch 3, etc. Remember that the drum part on SH is 10 by default, so set the MIDI channel to 10 in the Digitakt's MIDI track 5)
AUDIO:
- from SH-4d stereo Out to Digitakt stereo In
- from Digitakt stereo Out to DAW
No other connections required, cheers!

Is the digitakt 2 able to send bank switching messages (cc 32) to external synths ?
@@eldontyrellcorp thank you! I used to send program change with Syntakt and I guess Digitakt II can do the same as well, but I haven't tried yet.
@@malvinusmusic I think that indeed, program change must be possible. But my main concern is bank switching. For example, on the Blofeld, there are several banks of 128 programs and it would be great to automate the bank/program changes. I'll continue to investigate :)

Hi, I don't own a Blofeld but I tried with my trusty Take 5 and yes, you can switch banks. You have to lock the trigs to that bank and program (with Take 5 you deal with SBank and Prog values in the Digi's SRC menu, actually). Hope it helps, maybe I will make a video about it. Cheers!

@@echomjnl it's a good question because changing bank and pattern it's a mess with SH-4d! I have no problems with other gear like Take 5, but when it comes to SH-4d everything becomes confused. I'll post a video soon about it. Thanks for your kind words!
