Roland SH-4d | Song arranged (intro, verse, bridge, special, ending)

Good one. Well done. The robot drum stuff is painfully basic: no drummer would play like that. If you need a separate drum machine, go there. The overall structure of the song is much more like what we would ask an ensemble to play. See what you can do with a more complex chord progression. Once you take the SH-4d down this "song" path, you should also drift away from EDM. Give the bass line personality, even in a piece that features "choon". More, please.

Yes the drum section definetly needs more options. This doesn't mean it has to look like a human drummer imo, dance music also has a tradition of Linns and 808s. But yeah, the options here are really too basic. Thanks for the comment!

Ciao! splendide jam e tutorial come sempre.
Possiedo Sh-4d da una decina di giorni, macchina fantastica, ma da migliorare:
- I pattern non cambiano automaticamente al cambio di scene automatico (song mode) inviato da MC-101.
Problematiche comuni:
- modificando i numeri di canali assegnati di default i movimenti dei knobs non vengono registrati.
- gli effetti di mandata vengono tagliati al cambio di pattern.
Tu riesci ad aggirare questo taglio di effetti al cambio di pattern? Se si come?

Grazie davvero per i complimenti. Purtroppo sì, l'SH-4d ha bisogno di un firmware update che purtroppo non arriva. L'unica cosa che posso suggerirti è di usare un sequencer esterno e sfruttarlo solo per i suoi suoni. In fondo è un sintetizzatore, non una groove box. Anche io conto di usarlo accoppiato al mio Oxi One. Almeno fino a che Roland non si deciderà ad aggiornarlo. Ciao!
