I know 2 good Hayabusa swaps before but this one has a turbo and the grip on much higher level. I think this one can play with the best cars in the European hillclimb scene and shows you don't need 800+ hp.
When Suzuki launched the Hayabusa many of us in the bike community called it "the car" because a 1300cc engine was something you only found in a car. Little did we know how appropriate our nickname was. 😄
Pretty sure this is a modified Peugeot 205 T16 which was a mid-engined Group B car from Peugeot back in the day to beat the Audi Sport Quattro at the time which it beat obviously, so it's no more a Peugeot 205 than the Audi was a Quattro, same rules.
Conceptually they share the same principles (Hayabusa power, Mid-engined, full spaceframe, RWD etc..) but much different in execution (much different chassis structure, Turbo power, bigger wheelbase, wider etc...)
i love hillclimbs but dont follow the scene that longs as f1, moto gp, wrc etc so I wonder do the best european hill racers go to pikes peak or they keep in local?
There are national hillclimb competitions in Europe and international ones,like FIA hillclimb cup and european hillclimb championship,with plenty of great and challenging tracks.

It+s very much on the brink of the rulebook. Many people are of the opinion that the rulebook should not allow something with a whole Sport-Prototype chassis underneath and only a road-car inspired shell to be allowed on the Closed Car Classes.
