even if he hadn't used the elytra, if he had landed in the same spot as he did, he still would've died, since he started at y=75, and ended at y=63.

The new mobs having sophisticated animations while the older ones lack them does honestly come off as uncanny. Either, most of the mobs within reason should have such advanced animations, none at all, or it can be toggled.
I MUCH prefer all mobs having updated animations over only some, but it'd still feel weird. I'm not planning on moving past 1.19 personally, so it really doesn't matter too much to me going forward.
The Fresh Animations resource pack Phoenix featured a few months ago is really amazing for bringing parity to the old mobs.

It is very likely other mobs will be updated eventually, just look at Bats and Vexes. As the newer animations are the future that they are going towards, it's only a matter of time before other mobs get updated.

Really cool that they can interact with buttons. I've wanted to see something similar for redstone contraptions for a long time. Sometimes target blocks just don't work out.
You can redirect wind charges using bubble columns and flowing water and even slimeblocks. I tested itt in game. You just need a longer bubble column to fully redirect a wind charge.

Something I’ve discovered, fart- err wind charges can used in dispensers. If you arrange some in the shape of the stereotypical tnt launchpad, then when you activate them all it will send you FLYING. (Depending on amount of dispensers used you can control the height) this is insane because you take no fall damage and it actually launches you higher than a tnt launchpad 👀

Another cool side effect of this update is that you won't take fall damage with extremely high jump boost anymore, making jump boost above level 2 actually practical to use in maps and data packs.

Do you know what this means? Because elytra changes your physics if you entered elytra flight before or right after getting launched you would keep pretty much the full momentum of the initial blast. Even without elytra it could still be conceivably used to easily detonate the caged end crystals in the dragon fight, skipping climbing those pillars. A pillar skip, if you will.

You can actually shoot a crossbow bolt up and then throw the wind charge into it when its coming down to redirect it towards you. At the same time throw one at your feet and you can do a double wind charge jump

The wind charge stacking might be possible in survival. If set up like the no momentum ghast fireball trick, the wind charges would likely stack. If blown up with tnt (assuming they're affected by tnt), we could get them to hit the ground, accelerating the player to light speed.
With a 179,322 block peak height, 5,128 charges, each charge brought you up a rough average(and possible miscalculations, i just did peak height÷number of charges) of 34.96 blocks.
Playing with the wind charge my self, if you throw the wind charge at the exact time you jump you can go up 9 blocks, and if the bubble column is deep enough you can throw the wind charge down into it, problem being it still doesn't work as a stasis chamber because it isn’t effected by gravity so it just makes it fly back upwards unless you use cammands to make a downwards bubble column atleast 3 blocks tall directly above it, but that means it's still not verry survival friendly

you can trigger more than one wind charge jump at the same time by "sync jumping" IE launching a charge at the point in your initial jump so that when you hit the ground you hit at the same time as the first charge and activate a second charge right at that time.
you can go up to 9 blocks up with a single wind charge (16 with two) [even more if you crouch (11 and 21.5)]. theyre also affected by bubble columns and will curve upwards if theres a whole row of them. however you cant make a stasis chamber using them because theyre not affected by gravity so theyll just fly up forever
you can make a kinda tnt launcher except it uses fart bubbles and it'll actually be pretty good

I think it's fine rn. You can basically scale massive walls with 0 effort, and the jump force is more than you would really need as a Minecraft player.
The main issue is mostly with using it to knockback other people. It barely does anything unless you hit point-blank on the floor. In most cases you'd be better off with snowballs, since they at least are much more easily accessable.@@thatsguy1111

I would do domething like if you hold shift when shooting the fart, you use tye ebtire stack instantly and get all the movement at once, the stack limit would probably be 16
