It's quite common in the offroaders world to see people with vehicles equipped with diff. lockers, to try to go through hard situations, without using the lockers, just as it was a diminishing attitude to one's driving ability, to use the differential lockers. The intelligent and smart off-road driver, instead, uses the lockers any time necessary and also when not necessary, because when you're already stuck, not always the full traction can save your ass... 😉
Thanks for sharing and never forget the off-road credo. "drive always as slow as possible and as fast as necessary" And a Hi-Lift is a great tool in those situations
The FJ-80 is straight axle while the 200 is not? It’s pretty clear who would win in off road test. Btw the fj-80 is the pinnacle of off-road capability triple locked.
Did the LC200 driver really know how to drive? If the Toyota factory knows what he did with his car, he will sentence the LC200 driver to life imprisonment. Some people really shouldn't drive at all
As impressive as this is, it’s so sad to see these vehicles damaged travelling over rocks. I have always treated my vehicles as life dependant, that is no unnecessary damage.

Those were some fun looking trails! The rock recovery was well done! Awesome video!
thanks man. The recovery is always the good part
80s are golden but man that V8 and towing capability of the LC200 makes it a hard choice.
Right?
That’s why you buy a diesel

That is true.

No matter how many lockers we got, all are useless when the truck turned into a seesaw. Literally hanging by its belly
I have a 1995 hdj81 triple locked 80 series diesel ❤
No substitute for a solid axel rig
Why didn’t you try the traction boards?
Nice rigs, great comparison!
thank you!
Just curious, why not just move the rock it got stuck on? Just askin....
I hear you, you meant the one got kicked out? It was wedged under the rear bumper and was not able to be removed
All the weight of the 200 is on the rock he said
80 Series Land Cruisers rule...
Right on
the 200 series is heavy compare to 80. matters on dirt road.
The main difference between these cars is the flexible front axle on 80.. this "try" didn't emphasis that ability in any way.
So is the 80 better
@@longiusaescius2537yes, straight axles is what you want for off-roading not IFS

What is the lift on the 80?
Old man emu 3inch lift
It's just driver difference and different lines
All plays important roles
Roda depan kalau lurus pasti lolos
80 still KOM
80 series land cruiser
👍

That's what they were designed and built for.
