Bro. THANK YOU. These amateur install series videos are super helpful, because you're showing the issues and incorrect techniques that a typical inxperienced installer like most of us will encounter when doing our first wrap. Would love to see more of these. Shot out to your apprentice for being a good sport!
Is hard to be a student as first wrap as we see, but he also as a teacher to learn how to teach the student and how to restrain himself to not touch the car instead of doing himself because if he is doing himself the student will not learn anything but if he just film and explain technique and let the student do it is much better..
So yeah great lesson both learn something : Paradox how to teach and student how to wrap !
Just saw this.
I'm planning on wrapping my fk7 too with no knowledge of wrapping. I'll probably be in the same show as him. Great job
This helps alot im thinking of wrapping my vehicle this summer ive probably watched 20+ videos on it but this is the first to mention wrapping horizontaly with the car, really made a difference to the wrinkles
thx for the video Paradox, these videos give us newbies a fair idea of what issues we will run into, anyway, still trying to decide on whether I should wrap my car DIY, as I am someone who struggles with putting cling wrap on my left over food........... 😅
Pro make it look easy but I'm a amateur and I can safely say its very difficult when first starting a lot of mistakes but that's how we learn I suppose great job buddy
Thanks for the videos really learning a ton and also knowing exactly what I'm getting myself into lol. Going to get the midnight purple for my lady's four door cobalt see how it goes
🎉 he’s got this
Okay I’m gonna be honest I work all week and only get time on the weekends, and I don’t have a garage either, but first time I tried wrapping my fender I messed up when I was about 75% done, tore it all off and went back the next day did it in 1 hour, went next weekend the other side in 20 minutes, then I did the hood the next day and it took me about 30-45 minutes. But I only have my two fenders and hood wrapper atm I took a break bc of winter and I am now seeing slight imperfections like cutting too close to the edge and a little bit of over stretching on the first fender, mistakes noted for the next time I go and wrap it
Little mistakes but he did a great job for his first time. Car looks great! Thanks for this video.
Well done vlad. I’ve seen a lot worse from “professional wrappers”. Soon be doing a car a week and you got a great teacher.
Wrap glove is a very good tool
Been thinking about trying to wrap my 2014 Toyoda Corolla. I've always wanted a car irl in the Wine red color on GTA V. I saw a car on the highway with that color and I was just like I need that, and that's how I found out about wrapping cars. The only big problem I have right now is that I have to park my car outside with no shade basically all the time. At work and at home. So the UV damage will be a real problem. Tempted to wait till I get a house and then I can park in a garage. Probably would be the smart thing to do.
I feel his frustration and I don’t even wrap lol
the lighting idea is dope nice work my guy
“Man you got a little a$$ thumb…. What the h3ll?” 💀
he got it
Honestly for a first time it looks great lol
13 min in and WOW how did he not lose his cool. The kid needed more than help 🤣
Great tutorial, enjoyed watching this one 😊
Still looks great 😊
“Why can’t you stay outside your own line?” 🤣 💀
I think he did pretty good for the first time
Watching this makes me wanna
Jump in the tv and take over the job
Tint and wheels exhaust would make it clean er
I wonder how much criticism i would have gotten from you if you had seen me wrap my car! Good critique, nonetheless. Learned from you tho. Gonna wrap my car another color next april or May.
Your amazing
How long does it take for paradox to wrap a car?
good content
FFXIV represent lol
Wait is that a 2022 gr86 neptune blue 😏
Add Polish language in the list for translating subtitles. Please, please. I don't know English and subtitles will help a lot. Only the channel owner can add Polish language to the list. Please again.
Use a Dry erase marker .
Lmao..swipe a mans skin right off his body!!
Although dude coaching isn’t the nicest 😒 Young man did great
I’m coming to tHe SCHOOL, when can I show up?
This guy is very fortunate to be learning from somebody that quite literally learnd from scratch Paradox is a very well-known NorCal wrapper I love the work he does and I can't wait to do the same exact stuff to my car
What a Gem lesson...I would pay to do a side by side with you..great content!!
Not that I know anything about wrapping but watching him wrapping make me realize how paradox makes wrapping looks so easy
Takes lots of practice to know what to do the make it look easy lol
I can't see myself do any better on my first time. Looks good Vlad.
Right on Vlad, practice test your patience to your breaking point,
just take your time follow directions and you'll be like Dox!!😁😁well
almost..LOL😂😂
Paradox is the man to go to when learning how to wrap. The Master of wrapping. Overall, the kid did a good job wrapping. 👏
“ you got little ass thumbs…. what the hell “ 😂😂
I think he done an amazing job for his first solo job I’ve seen people do slap your work that’s been doing it for 5-6 years be sure to post his third care that he does it. it’ll be exciting to see how good he gets just off of 3
If you can't wrap a car in a week, you should not be wrapping. Well, if you can't teach without getting mad and having an attitude, you shouldn't teach
The guy learning was so patient tho I would of been so aggregated ughhh we see everything sped up it’s time consuming
The other people demonstrating beginner wraps are just informative. Man... this is highly entertaining, I can't stop laughing cuz you guys start cracking up over stupid stuff. It's just really funny and I enjoy the enthusiasm, but definitely mistakes I'll probably make too. Great work both of you!
I'm no professional by any means, but one thing to note is you should never heat the start of your tac line and then pull it like he did on the rear corners. That will create the lines and white/see-through stretch spots, Always careful pulling after heating!
I’m binging wrap videos because I’m wrapping both my cars lol I bought the vinyl already and am just crossing my fingers I can do it. I started with a few interior pieces just as a warm up. We’ll see how bad I do 😂
How did It go? I’ve wrapped other things before like kitchens but I feel like a car is a different ball park I’m petrified 😂😂😂
it really is man id suggest to practice on your rear taillights, took me 1 hour first time wrapping a black film tint @@Nah957
It’s been a MONTH what’s the progress!!!!??
Fella should've just used the squeegee. Some of us don't have giant bear thumbs to help us. haha
I realize it's a year old, but thanks for the upload. I've always been one to do my own work on my own cars, and I've become interested in wrapping. Really can't watch enough of these videos, and wrapping in itself is very satisfying. Like pressure washing an old porch making it look new again.
Man, I need to get to editing the videos of my 1st wrap to show the mistakes and struggles I went through. The focus is done, s10 is next.. then del sol
I wanna do my 98 mustang but those spots in the doors got me reconsidering. And the spoiler. How in the world would I wrap a spoiler 😂
This pained me to watch. My mans awkward lol. But…. Glad to see it done. Good job 👍🏻
I think it would be easier for me to paint my own car with good results than wrap it......obviously a lot more work to paint it but frankly controllable....this shit is mad annoying so respect for the people who do this for a living...
2:43 LMFAOOO
Good luck on future works Vlad, and remember all masters start as beginners.
i did my hood....and i vowed to never wrap again IT WAS HORRIBLE! "id rather paint." is what i said lol i find painting to be alot easier than wrapping
Nice video for me as I will be doing my first soon but would like a link to the candy apple red you have done before on the 240
It’s the candy ice red on my website
1:16 I think he'll do it, but there will be many mistakes. Just like everyone who does it DIY, for the first few times, they'll finish the wrap, but it will have some flaws. Nobody uses a whole roll of wrap on the car and tears it off because it's too difficult, lmao.
Interesting I was on the phone all afternoon chasing up someone to wrap my car. Everyone I called gave me quotes from $3K to $10K. Now I’m watching this 😮 if I didn’t live on the other side of the planet I’d bring it around. Also told the Vinyl I purchased off Temu was Chinese rubbish. 😢
I’m curious and can’t figure out the answer. I’m about to do my first wrap so I hope you can answer this. Why leave the magnets on the vinyl while stretching. If it’s already sticking to the car aren’t the magnets kind of just in the way?
Got to heat the whole panel your lifting before stretching he kept stretching it without heat. Heat warms the vinyl which will help you with those stretch marks.
body parts can get bigger as you age, but it depends on lifestyle factors. growth hormone will taper off around 50s and drop entirely into late 70s. it's effects are cumulative, so over time body parts will be bigger towards the later end of life. once growth hormone production stops entirely, then people will begin to shrink
Very interesting. But my OCD could never handle this type of work. Thank you guys for having the patience and skills for doing it.
Great vid! I have the itch and want to wrap my car myself. 2 main questions: 1) how do you determine what to remove off of the car before putting the wrap on, and 2) if there is a slight dent in the slide panel, is it necessary to fix? Thanks in advance for any advice, but if you don’t get to respond thank you anyway for the great videos!
this is so awesome! i tried wrapping my old ML500 Mercedes and i FAILED!! i thinkg i had some cheap wrap. what Brand of wrap do you use? i want to try again.
Man I'm too nervous. For one you want it too turn out awesome and 2 you don't want to waste expensive wrap your using. Like you said you have to do a few like anything else in life. 👍👍👍💯🙏
the man to understand the techniques required to wrap a car, just purchased my roll it’ll be here tomorrow or the next, soo excited!
How’d it go bro?
Why did you tell him to pull back the wrap, when he heated that corner part of the rear bumper before?
That makes that part discolored!!
First you have to pull it back, then heat it. He did it reverse
Come on. Foolio you should have told him that from the beginning always leave quarter inch Gap when cutting so you can tuck it in... I've never rapped but I used to tint almost the same concept but rap is much more difficult
I actuallu feel more confident trying this because it was like sitting in a tutoring session.
He did an amazing job, wouldn’t have seen the mistakes if u wouldn’t have pointed it out I like the color
This feels like a such a stupid question but how did he get the shape of the fender onto the back of the wrap? Guessing or tracing?
This is so cool. I’m looking at wrapping my own car as well. I’m so glad I found your videos
looks like the most frustrating thing in the world... and i weld for a living...
He is supposed to be doing it by himself paradox let the man work and be quiet 🤫 lol this video was funny lmao
wth, I was told you can't use heat on those types of vinyls. Unless they were talking about the torches.
Not bad for amateur wrapping but hes learning from the best!!
awesome.....im next ....this was great to watch ...im about to try it on my 1980 elcamino
Vlad learning to wrap while getting roasted by paradox! What could be better
Excelente, eres un gran maestro, saludos desde Venezuela..
I wanna kno how much wrap do I need for Infiniti i35 2003 first time tryin it plz help thnx a lot
The instructor seems to be very knowledgeable, but is there a reason for the sunglasses and no shirt lesson?
Do you have to prep before installing the wrap? And also does this wrap is better than 3m?
i thought that wrapping would be easy, i was mistaken. it took me roughly around 1 hour to wrap my e90s taillights for the first time ever. the surfaces were almost flap except the corners those were so damn hard ! mad respect to you guys from Toronto Canada
I believe it’s harder when u working on it , u should learn the techniques. Glad u let him try for the second time , he will be ok once he knows where to start and wat to do next. All the best , love to watch u guys
Ooo yea gotta love that China quality material. Super tacky and stiff.
This looks very tedious. Would drive me insane doing this for a living
Gonzalez Edward Brown Karen Robinson Ruth
Wow that’s not easy, wish I had that guy here in Sydney teaching me.
I would be too scared to mess it up and having spent so much darn money on a roll
This is very helpful. I have a wrap on my hood that came with the car and its getting all cracked up so now im gonna try replacing it myself.
I did body/rust work and wrap my car outside in the wind in one week.
On 23:30 you have the best car you can have. A bicolor car!!!!
@ParadoxTheWrapper not everyone can have the Moai thumbs 🗿
Hey Obi Wan you have much patience. What color blue is that?
The link to the blue on this video is in the description
Hes not Obi. He is a Samurai lol.
Little thumbs
How much wrap do you need to cover the BRZ?
Sar I want to work with u I am owner of Auto Decoration Shop in Pakistan
When you try to learn someone how to wrap but you dont know that niether😂
It’s so much more helpful if a new person does it
Passing me off how he's not wearing a glove
