DePaul vs Loyola Marymount 1/14/89. We've seen better defense played in Hayes-Healy on campus at DePaul. Stanley Brundy with 41 points and 22 rebounds to lead the Blue Demons. Run-and-Gun game that got a little too close with about 5 minutes remaining before DePaul stretched out the lead at the end. Hank Gathers played in this game for LMU, just about a year before he tragically passed away.
