she is unlike the other foals - but all too familiar she will come around until then I will treat her with the respect of a wild horse and earn her trust
Love how your not forcing her to interact with you and letting her approach her terms. So gentle with all your interactions. Its funny though seeing her go from curios to cranky 😂she's like I'm a big foal fear me.
Between you and Jordan, she’ll come around in no time. Food, scratches and a soft touch will work like magic, and soon she’ll be seeking you out for cuddles.💕
Patience, calm, quiet, control. Well done, Candice. You aren't mom, but you are the strange, nice lady with milk. She is paying close attention to you. And pinning her ears and telling you I Want My Mama. She will be fine.
Poor baby. . . the pinning of the ears I am sure is a defence mechanism to say don't try to grab me. It's sad, she misses her momma. But, you are saving her life even though she doesn't know it. Bless you and Jordan for this work.
I am in love with her wide blaze and the low whorl on her forehead. Poor thing is missing mom and trying to make sense of things. Thank you all for helping her.
She did look angry while you were pulling the ticks off of her, but she didn’t fight it at all. That may say something about a great temperament if you guys need to raise her. What a sweetie-face!
Some people don’t understand how important positive vocal cues for horses as well as dogs and cats! You do a great job repeating positive reinforcement vocally so she can associate good behavior with sweet words and yummy food! ❤ You have a very joy filled voice, I can see why she’s coming around so fast, you must have amazing energy!
She is the most beautiful foal I have seen in a long, long time! So intelligent. I love the camera shot catching the expressions on her face and body as she so clearly shows her thought process while you speak to your audience about what is going on and why. Thank you for doing these rescues and bringing the world along for the journey!
How sweet as she starts drinking from the bucket and how she edges closer to you as address the camera. Thank you so much for your commentaries and for your rescues.
Her survival instincts make her wary but they will also help her understand in time that you bring food and comfort and safety. Herd instincts are so strong. As mad as she was with you, she still gravitated towards you. Find a small stool to sit with her perhaps? I also can’t crouch for long periods anymore, lol.
Interesting you are dealing with a different stage of development and herd experience. Chuckled when the foal "love an itch" phenomena over-rode for a moment.
The fact that she approached you and didn't continue to bury herself in the corner shows she's already coming around a little bit. She also did look at you with both eyes a couple of times. She's trying to reconcile her fear and distrust of anything strange with her need to be with other animals. She'll get there pretty quickly.
she's so sweet, even when crankly lol. I noticed in the first video she was trying to find a way to nurse on those rounded barrels. Poor baby, her world changed fast.
You are doing an amazing job at working with her and not forcing her to change more quickly. The time you take now shows up later in how much easier it is to train them to be great horses for the rest of their lives. That connection with people is what keeps horses in one home for more of their lifetime and less changing from home to home. Well done and hopefully she does pick up anything from all those ticks!
I think what your doing when a foal is reported to you is absolutely beautiful rescuing them i'm guessing mom was being pursued by a bunch of males wanting to breed her again just keep watch for her and rescue her if possible
She’s very sweet. She looks like she has one blue eye and one brown eye, that’s cute. I remember Ranger started out looking like that, do you think she’ll change colour as she ages like Ranger did?
She's got bigggg mare ears I love little red mares I'm absolutely smitten ❤ I have the baby horse fever I might have to stop by the local rescue and see if they have any babies to volunteer with next weekend 🥰
I really hope she's going to be alright. I know you guys have better luck with this one You all are the best God sent these herds two angels and there names are Candice and Jordan . Take care Lou from Det. Mi,❤
Her little unsure nods at you when she followed you back to the camera after feeding her❤️❤️ she was so curious but then definitely had that "should I play or defend myself against this unknown moving object(milk wagon)?" Like taking a green broke colt from the arena to the mountains😂 She's like, so what the heck are you? She's sweet😍
Camille! SO fine to see you and Jordan saving foals and training young ones, etc. I thot you handled this newbie perfectly! Funny to see her at first, just standing, facing the corner like a toddler sulking :)) And yes, I did hear that familiar sound - creaking knee joints when you crouched down! Great work, you two!
She does look a lot like Ranger. His coloration has always been so unusual. He spends part of the year as red, and part as almost white! I wonder if she will do that too!.
It must be so frightening for her. Her whole world turned upside down in the first few weeks of life. PayPal donation on the way to help with vet expenses etc.
What would cause her mom to abandon her - I never understand how the instinct to mother allows them to run off with the herd and leave their baby behind.
I love this new foal!! I am still sad from the last rescue that had went to horse heaven. Praying for a good outcome of this adorable foal. Can't wait for your next video on this newbie addition!!! God Bless
I would name her Pearl. Pitiful Pearl. My mom use to call me that when I was a little girl & get upset. When I was little I suffer from Separation Anxiety. I had a lot of trama my first five years of my life. Including being viciously mauled by the neighbors gaurd dog, then breaking my left leg in two places, from getting my foot caught in bicycle spokes, while rolling down a hill.. Just to mention a couple tramas my first five years of life. Losing her mom & having to go ride in a truck to the vets, having strange people pulling ticks off of her. I can relate to her missing her mom. Just because she's a (pitiful) Pearl, doesn't mean she isn't strong. Pearl's are tough & beautiful. Her eyes are the color of blue water! ❤
It’s so wonderful how you guys are with these beautiful babies❤ Her eyes are beautiful 😍 She’s a curious girl, checking you out. She’ll be falling you around in no time.😊
So pleased you have found this precious baby girl, she is really beautiful I’m sure you will turn her around and she will have a marvellous life with you guys. Can’t wait to watch her journey 😊
For as scowly as She is ... she is also very ears forward... but it certainly is on her terms... she absolutely will come around... shes looking really good... Im suspecting a bear or wolf chasing the herd.. bears are hungry, and foals are one of their fave foods... unfortunately.... She is good hands now. God Bless !! ❤
Candice, why don't you use a bottle with a nippel on it for these babies? I've seen you use a bucket with others as well. That being said, you take wonderful care of them. Very proud of you and Jordan for the work you do with the wild herds
You guys are some kind of special!! I just love what you are doing! Thank You for helping to make this foul survive. Being a horse person - it brings tears - many tears.
Hi Candice and Jordan, you’re doing such a precious work for these little Wildies! And thank you very much for all the background knowledge you gave us here, Candice. It’s great you also try to see if the herd is somewhere around. I wonder if you could try to have more support, like creating a wild foal network in your town, so you don’t need to do all the work yourself.
What a blessing for her that she’s with you now, and it’s good to know that if ever there’s a feral foal in need of help and rescue some people know to contact you and Jordan, l would say that you are the best when it comes to these precious little babies, I still haven’t gotten over the size of those ticks Candice, they make me shudder, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧
I love e her little intimidation moves...next she'll be attached to you like another pair of pants
Poor baby! She’s a real stunner with her bi-colored eyes. It’s great that you got her drinking from the bucket so quickly. What a blessing you are.
She’s so precious. You can read all of her confusion on her face. I’m glad she has you both ❤
Love how your not forcing her to interact with you and letting her approach her terms. So gentle with all your interactions.
Its funny though seeing her go from curios to cranky 😂she's like I'm a big foal fear me.
Horse Whisperers, what an adorable interaction.
Between you and Jordan, she’ll come around in no time. Food, scratches and a soft touch will work like magic, and soon she’ll be seeking you out for cuddles.💕
She is Beautiful 😍
Bless her she must be so confused, she’s trying to figure you out and it won’t take long until she’s following you around wanting attention.
Patience, calm, quiet, control. Well done, Candice. You aren't mom, but you are the strange, nice lady with milk. She is paying close attention to you. And pinning her ears and telling you I Want My Mama. She will be fine.
Poor little thing -- she must be sooo confused & missimg her Mum. Glad you have her and will keep her safe.
I think you’re doing an excellent job with her. You’re always the gentle soul when it comes to the foals.
I'm wondering if the mare came into foal heat and was being harassed and chased by stallions to the point she bolted and lost contact with the filly.
She wants you to be sure you know she's got those ears pinned so she's getting right up in your face to be sure you know the score.😅
Poor baby. . . the pinning of the ears I am sure is a defence mechanism to say don't try to grab me. It's sad, she misses her momma. But, you are saving her life even though she doesn't know it. Bless you and Jordan for this work.
She's a beauty!
I am in love with her wide blaze and the low whorl on her forehead. Poor thing is missing mom and trying to make sense of things. Thank you all for helping her.
Thank you very much guys, I love these little foals.
Warm regards, Dave UK
She did look angry while you were pulling the ticks off of her, but she didn’t fight it at all. That may say something about a great temperament if you guys need to raise her. What a sweetie-face!
Thanks for regularly updating us on these babies ❤ praying that this little one will settle in and thrive. ❤
I would call her Sunshine. When she turns to look at you she looks like the sun came up with her white blaze.
Dang, I was going to suggest April, but Sunshine is even better!
I wonder, where her herd went?
She's very pretty. I hope she makes it.
She's going to be a stunning horse! What a cute, intelligent baby!
Without you guys where would she be? You are heaven sent to watch over and keep them all safe!
Candice I think this filly has a strong disposition but will melt in your hands in a few more days. She is beautiful.😊
Some people don’t understand how important positive vocal cues for horses as well as dogs and cats! Winnie….!…. A great name…. She’s a winner…!
Your patience, her face markings a adorable.
Beautiful foal glad you all are helping those babies
How sweet as she starts drinking from the bucket and how she edges closer to you as address the camera. Thank you so much for your commentaries and for your rescues.
What a beautiful baby! But look at those ears!! She is really telling you off😊
Bless her lil heart.
Oh , she is a healing gift to you and Jordan for how you cared for the little filly who didn’t make it. ❤
Her survival instincts make her wary but they will also help her understand in time that you bring food and comfort and safety. Herd instincts are so strong. As mad as she was with you, she still gravitated towards you. Find a small stool to sit with her perhaps? I also can’t crouch for long periods anymore, lol.
Beautiful. Its great that you are so patient with this lovely, cranky foal.
Interesting you are dealing with a different stage of development and herd experience. Chuckled when the foal "love an itch" phenomena over-rode for a moment.
Even pouty she looks so cute 💕😻😍❤️
Wishing the best for you guys and your new arrival ❤
Wow you have so much knowledge . Beautiful 😻
She'll come around
The fact that she approached you and didn't continue to bury herself in the corner shows she's already coming around a little bit. She also did look at you with both eyes a couple of times. She's trying to reconcile her fear and distrust of anything strange with her need to be with other animals. She'll get there pretty quickly.
Best of luck with her❤
It must be so difficult when she wants to nurse. I love her one blue eye---so pretty!
she's so sweet, even when crankly lol. I noticed in the first video she was trying to find a way to nurse on those rounded barrels. Poor baby, her world changed fast.

Maybe she's Ranger's sibling.😊
I think what your doing when a foal is reported to you is absolutely beautiful rescuing them i'm guessing mom was being pursued by a bunch of males wanting to breed her again just keep watch for her and rescue her if possible
Awww, she's a sweet pea. Thank you for saving her and for sharing your knowledge and calmness in handling these little babies. ❤
Thank you for taking us on these journeys. We are fascinated and invested. Love and strength to you and yours. ❤
She’s very sweet. She looks like she has one blue eye and one brown eye, that’s cute. I remember Ranger started out looking like that, do you think she’ll change colour as she ages like Ranger did?
She looks like she could be related to Ranger. Karen from Canada
She's got bigggg mare ears I love little red mares I'm absolutely smitten ❤ I have the baby horse fever I might have to stop by the local rescue and see if they have any babies to volunteer with next weekend 🥰
what a blessing you are for these babies......
You guys are amazing! It takes a special heart to keep doing what y'all do for these babies❤
I really hope she's going to be alright. I know you guys have better luck with this one
You all are the best
God sent these herds two angels and there names are Candice and Jordan . Take care
Lou from Det.
She has the prettiest eyes (one blue and one brown)...Thank you for rescuing her. It must be not easy for the foals and for you both.
Camille! SO fine to see you and Jordan saving foals and training young ones, etc. I thot you handled this newbie perfectly! Funny to see her at first, just standing, facing the corner like a toddler sulking :))
And yes, I did hear that familiar sound - creaking knee joints when you crouched down!
Great work, you two!
A second feral foal! I hope this will take the sting out of the first one's loss. She's so adorable! I'm sure she will love you guys soon!
Sweet baby ❤
Hope they get the fence fixed. Thank you and Jordan for what you do. Your community too. She is adorable.
Her eyes yesterday were so sad, like her whole innocent world changed. She's in good hands, it'll be good to see her turn around 💞
She does look a lot like Ranger. His coloration has always been so unusual. He spends part of the year as red, and part as almost white! I wonder if she will do that too!.
Camille's are fabulous at foal rescue & horsemanship!!!
Keep good going!!!
❤❤❤
Awww precious baby ❤❤❤❤
It must be so frightening for her. Her whole world turned upside down in the first few weeks of life. PayPal donation on the way to help with vet expenses etc.
Bless you ❤❤❤
You can see the mischief in her eyes but also curiousity.
What would cause her mom to abandon her - I never understand how the instinct to mother allows them to run off with the herd and leave their baby behind.
I was wondering why you don't bottle feed?
Thank you for saving these wild babies! She is beautiful, especially those eyes!
I think you should call her , "Piper" based on where she was found😊.
Great name
I love this new foal!! I am still sad from the last rescue that had went to horse heaven. Praying for a good outcome of this adorable foal. Can't wait for your next video on this newbie addition!!! God Bless

Wonderful little foal! Thank you for rescuing here Candace and Jordan!❤️😀🎍🐎
If she is a couple weeks old, she may have a better chance at survival, even if leaving the horse world for the human is more difficult.
She is beautiful I can't blame her for being cranky n confused missing her momma n herd but she's beyond blessed for you guys resucing her 💖
It’s so wonderful how you guys are with these beautiful babies❤ Her eyes are beautiful 😍 She’s a curious girl, checking you out. She’ll be falling you around in no time.😊
Thank you Candice for sharing information about caring for a foal.
That was so cute to watch. Your smile and her cranky but curious looks. Just adorable. May she grow strong and never lose her spice!
The dark bucket might be better than using a white bucket. Closer to the colour of her mother potentially.
While it is so sad she lost her mother, she is so blessed to have you to care for her!
Such a beautiful face and eyes. I think she will become a real prize. 🐎😊
So pleased you have found this precious baby girl, she is really beautiful I’m sure you will turn her around and she will have a marvellous life with you guys. Can’t wait to watch her journey 😊
She likes you already I think
She looks like Ranger!❤❤❤❤

I'm sure she will come around. My goodness tho, those cranky ears! I love learning about this type of training.
Such a sweetheart. I hope that the next couple of days will help her settle in. ❤
You guys are some kind of special!! I just love what you are doing! Thank You for helping to make this foul survive. Being a horse person - it brings tears - many tears.

You are doing such a good job letting her aproach you . Beeing calm is the most impotant thing! Well done!
She’s so adorable. You are so wonderful devoting your time to helping this abandoned foal.
I wonder if she's from the same mare as Ranger if they have something in common. She's SO adorable. 🥰
She's so cute, being all cranky like that.
"Just leave the bucket and get out!" 😂
Congratulations on getting another baby.
Have a great day. 🐞
I love her beautiful white face
I noticed in the first video her one blue eye. So pretty.
