Combine it to perseverance and passion in what you do and you're on track to the road of success. Markus was the Norwegian film guy from the start of Jon's YT Vlogs. I was there from the beginning and it was top tier daily movies. So much fun watching him grow his channel and as a person.

Crazy to think that Jon is still stuck at 1.5 million subs. I would’ve expected it to be 5 million a long time ago. The fun, detail, quality, and inspiration I get from his vlogs are amazing. Jon probably has no idea how many people he has inspired.

@@novembertrails indeed, but Markus was the guy at the start of the YT channel blowing up under the name Jon Olsson. He was way ahead of the game when it came to “Video Blogging” as he called it years before YT came around.
He was the perfect interviewer. This is the video I've been waiting to hear for years now. I relate to you a lot Jon and you have have helped inspire me to take risk and start a business that I'm working on and struggling through.

I think what most of your viewers would agree on is we don’t really care what you vlog about, cars, boats houses, life, podcasts,or just everyday stuff we enjoy it all! Looking forward to your house build vlogs for sure! I’m small business owner custom woodworker, I would suggest you find a smaller custom woodworking business for your home as opposed to a factory style woodworking business, you might find they can really customize to your vision :)

Im the same its a pain.!!! You have to learn to past the rains over to someone to manage the company and just attend meetings to be updated on progress and start another plan 51% of something requiring 2% of your time is better than 100% of noting

This is great stuff. Love to hear from young entrepreneurs, especially those who develop real businesses from real pursuits (not "influencers"). Podcast idea: you have had your brother and parents on podcasts and vlogs, but how about interviewing a few of your mentors or someone you have really benefited from learning from on to discuss what makes you you?

Interesting and fun to watch, and I appreciate you doing it, but the interviewer needs to stop interrupting mid sentence.

This was psychology 101.
I think Thomas Rebaud put it correctly with asking these piercing questions, Jon was and isn't an entrepreneur, but the product guy that attaches to entrepreneurs and makes succesful products. I don't think he has the caliber of Thomas in terms of business knowledge and that shined throughout the whole interview. He kind of played it off as "I don't remember this or that" but I would rather have him be honest from the start that the business minds of Trulls and Jannis dad are the real business builders, Jon is the guy with an idea and money and someone else has to come in and trust that his idea is fruitful. You can also see it in his vlogs, he throws money at stuff he believes will be good product but then its up to the business guys to make sure it goes to an actual tangible thing.

Who is this podcast about? The interviewer is talking way more than he should, in my opinion Moaci was a much better host. By the way I do like the podcasts, but not with this guy..

Probably a traumatic experience for them at the time.
He said he earned a Million selling the house. Revealing the break-in would have cost him hundreds of thousands of dollars.
This guy that interviewed you he sucks. He should’ve done his homework and knew a little bit about what you’ve done and stop asking annoying questions. I bet it took everything you had to sit through that one. You were very interesting. Pick somebody else to interview you next time.

He asked the right questions, went back and try to make Jon follow a timeline so the viewer could follow through. I've been here since vlog 002 with Markus.... and seen every video since. I know most of the things about Jon already but I still enjoyed the interview. Chill out man.
