Stumbled upon this video just hours after I found out that the youth orchestra which I played in as a teenager has had all its funding withdrawn and will most likely be forced to shut down. The orchestra was such a defining influence on my life and taught me so much, not only about classical music, but also about the importance of hard work and working with others so this video has really hit home for me today. Shame there aren't more people like you in the world John.

So... my professor played us a mountain goats song in class(Deuteronomy 2:10) and she asked if anyone had heard of them before and (after almost spitting up my tea) I said one of my favorite authors is pretty much obsessed with them. She asked who it was and I said John Green. She then proceeded to say, "I went to high school with John Green and we were in a creative writing club together," I think she then proceeded to say something about rosemary but I was too shocked and in awe of the whole situation to remember fully. Danochy nope! it’s a small private school, around 600 students. just a high concentration of nerds and nerdfighters 👌 I started a quidditch team while I was there!
Stumbled upon this video just hours after I found out that the youth orchestra which I played in as a teenager has had all its funding withdrawn and will most likely be forced to shut down. The orchestra was such a defining influence on my life and taught me so much, not only about classical music, but also about the importance of hard work and working with others so this video has really hit home for me today. Shame there aren't more people like you in the world John.

So... my professor played us a mountain goats song in class(Deuteronomy 2:10) and she asked if anyone had heard of them before and (after almost spitting up my tea) I said one of my favorite authors is pretty much obsessed with them. She asked who it was and I said John Green. She then proceeded to say, "I went to high school with John Green and we were in a creative writing club together," I think she then proceeded to say something about rosemary but I was too shocked and in awe of the whole situation to remember fully.
It was a crazy moment for me.

The next novel by John Green, in which a highly successful author attempts to help his brother by goading the city to buy his book, An Absolutely Remarkable Thing, which comes out September 25th and is available for preorder now. John and Hank proceed to sit inside a room and talk for an hour, John using the Billboards as an excuse for a deep conversation into the nature of publishing and advertising which leads to both of them having revelations about the world around them and their relationship with each other and their fans. Sprinkled with strange comedy and weirdness, eventually the two go outside, look at the Billboards and eventually take them down. Then they go back in and talk. And make a video.
