  • The color alone makes it look so appetizing, with its rich flavor, you could easily eat a whole plateful. It's perfect for East Asian palates.
    This is Bolognese meat sauce spaghetti (ragù alla bolognese), which is the most commonly eaten tomato meat sauce spaghetti.
    Ingredients:
    500g of beef mince, 500g of pork mince (70% lean, 30% fat), 2 fresh tomatoes, 1/2 carrot, several stalks of celery, 50g of butter, vegetable oil, salt, white sugar, basil, thyme, oregano, bay leaves, black pepper, red wine, 1 head of garlic, 1 onion, canned tomato sauce (800-1000g), canned diced tomatoes (400-500g).
    Instructions:
    Mince the garlic and onion. Peel and dice the tomatoes.
    Finely chop the carrot and celery as small as possible.
    In a separate pot, heat vegetable oil, then add the diced tomatoes, carrot, and celery. Add a pinch of salt, cover, and cook over low heat until the vegetables are soft and release their juices.
    In a frying pan, heat butter and a little vegetable oil. Once the butter is melted and bubbling, add the minced meat and cook over medium-low heat to release the moisture. Add the minced garlic and onion halfway through and continue cooking until fragrant. Then add the cooked tomatoes, carrot, and celery. Stir constantly.
    Add red wine (250-400ml) and continue stirring. Add tomato sauce and canned diced tomatoes, then continue stirring. Add basil, thyme, oregano (3-5 grams each), black pepper, salt (about 30g), white sugar (about 50g), and some hot water. Continue stirring.
    Transfer the ingredients to an enamel pot, insert a few bay leaves, cover, and bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees Celsius for at least 60 minutes. Remove the bay leaves before serving. Finished.
