The iPhone XR is one of Apple‘s most unusual phones ever. it received a ton of hate when it first came out, but in the end it ended up outselling the iPhone XS
From day one to now I still want an iPhone XR, good battery, good screen without OLED (lasts longer), good performance, and the last good design without multiple cameras. There’s no big change since the XR that makes me consider a newer model, other than the Pro models with the telephoto lens, and LiDAR sensor for 3D scanning, and the performance. But again, those are just incremental differences, the XR does most of it all like a champ.
Everyone I know that owned one of these loved it honestly. People don't care about things like the screen resolution beyond if it looks good enough for watching videos and using the general UI.
I remind the good day with my Xr, it was a incredible phone. I only switch it because of my cellular plan, but that phone was what i want it. I switch over from a iphone 7 so my first reaction was “this is big” and that the battery was exceptional, not to mention performance and camera. Today it seems like a overpriced iphone but that was good
Crazy to think that the SE 4th Gen that’s expected to drop in 2024 will take on this very same , 2018 design that was supposedly such a disappointment! Always really liked the XR’s wide array of colors and wanted one up until this year.. but my ‘ol school design, TouchID equipped SE3 won me over with its smaller size and A15 chip. Phones are getting to be so expensive now… so a future-proof new handset at a little over $400 is well worth it to a cheapskate like me who could care less about all the more fancy features 😂 Same 326ppi as the XR also 😄 Apple really hit it outta the ballpark with the clarity of their Retina panels, so I never understood why people like unbox therapy and those similar made such a stink about them!
I bought iPhone XR in 2020 and I was like wow this phone is so good I was impressed by the display, camera, speed and other aspects. Previous I used huawei p10 lite it was huge jump. I never understood this videos that’s blamed XR because its a really good phone. I’m using iPhone XR till today and I’m really enjoying it. This phone at its time was so different and maybe this is reason why people blamed it. Finally XR end up best selling phone of 2019
The backlash of the screen was hella undeserved, no one irl complains about it, it looks sharp. It was just nitpicking. Plus the OLED variants need more resolution to look as sharp to a equivalent LCD, we really didn’t loose on the screen.
Great video!!! Couldn’t agree more. Could you record audio in stereo instead of mono as it was a bit difficult to concentrate while wearing headphones. Keep up the good work 😊
Some of my relatives have the XR. It’s a great phone for them and a modern phone with a cheaper price. The only difference is the camera and the better screen than the XR.
I feel like the iPhone 14 plus is the iPhone XR 2.0. I feel that more people will over time buy the 14 Plus over the 14 Pro. I have both the XR and the 14 Plus and they’re both great devices.
The only weakness in my opinion was the camera i used it along side my iphone 11 and id find my self using it alot more. the battery life was great too.
XR was my first iPhone. It was not a cheap device in my country, selling at ₹76,000 (~$900+). But it was the cheapest iPhone you can get at the time. The screen and front camera was subpar, with the screen getting hot at max brightness, but the pros outweigh the cons. It’s been an absolute workhorse, and to this day my device doesn’t lag. I am not a ‘pro’ user, so it gets the job done. But I feel like most XR owners will upgrade to iPhone 15.
I think it became successful when. The price came down to a good point where then it was the best budget phone apple ever made at that time. Making it outsell the flagship models

When i got the iPhone XR wayback 2019 I was super exited. Now it's still serving me its purpose. Social media.
About the display, it’s resolution is closer to Full HD (1080p) rather than HD (720p).
Hahhahahaha apple fooled customers when they sold sub HD phones like this.
@@Teluric2 they didn’t fool anyone, this was stated before it was shipped out and explicitly told time and time again.

i love mine. mines turned 5 months and still so good. upgrading from iphone 7 feels like a dream.
surprisingly it was a hit, people would always ask me what phone i was using
I had a Xr and loved mine. It was cheaper, and it did the job well!
XR was my first iPhone in summer 2019 it was a great phone

No one? Do you know every xr user?
@@Teluric2 well do you?
Just TH-camrs who call themselves tech enthusiasts are nitpicking on shit like this when in reality, it is an OK display with support for P3 color.

Love this video! New sub!

Now we can bring this line: "Mission failed successfully"

what is wrong with ip 67
Someone I know using this iPhone don't even know many features of iOS. It tells story.
Watching this on my XR, hands down the best phone I ever had lol
Just commenting for the algorithm
Remember people: user experience > specs
Good experience trumps specs for daily use.
but iphone xr hv bad front camera, its to much zoom
The XR was my first iPhone and got me out of the Android ecosystem.
Nobody cares about Tech savvy , the number is small , Iphone xr is one of the best phone apple ever released
Not even my nephew want that crap.
