A few years ago I was at Urgent care and a Doctor and a male nurse walked into my room. It was " Do you live with a spouse or a significant other?" I was going to ask; why do you have to know this for what felt like severe strep throat? But I just said I live with my brother and sister. He gave me a glass of water and a pill to calm the throat and left the room. And then hit me, maybe this guy is attracted to me. Which made me feel good but also surprising because I am not pretty or in good physical shape. He then came back in to tell me I didn't have strep and got closer to me than most people I know and casually grazed my arm and told me the usual stuff about resting and staying hydrated. But could tell he was trying to make the encounter last a little longer. Usually someone being that close to me would make me uncomfortable, but it did not with him. I almost said something like I hope your night is not too long to show him that I was also attracted to him. But then chickened out and just said thank you. Could you please help? I'm 63 on disability and newly dating a man on social security, we enjoy being together but it's hard to go on quality dates due to limited funds. My question is we need advice how to move thru dating stages while on fixed low income and the pros and cons and pitfalls we might fall into. Picnic in a park, free outdoor concerts, put on music and slow dance, early bird specials for dinner, strip poker, walk in the park, nature walk/hike, farmers market visits, go to an auction (dont have to buy anything) matinee movies, plan a day trip somewhere and bring Picnic lunch, go to the library and rent movies, play chess or checkers there, have friends over for game night

I think he had a love that hurt him really bad, or his childhood was from broken marriage. I don't know, but recently I've stopped seeing him on weekends and calling him or texting. I've noticed if I catch this guy looking at me, he takes a sudden deep breath and he'll lock eyes just a moment before looking away, and his hands go deeper in his pockets, I can tell his heart is racing. That I caught him looking. And I've also noticed his eyes change,
Rarely has this happened to me cause I am introverted and reserved and prefer to stay home and watch all the awesome TV shows on now or just do something with my sister or even by myself. But when I was a freshman in high school a guy would hang around my locker and just be around, smiling. I thought he was nice but didn't think of him like that. Unfortunately I was immature. I was cold and I ignored him. I thought if I was nice, it would give him the wrong idea. I now regret all these later how I acted. I should have been more friendly, maybe even given him a chance and also maybe didn't even like me. I could have been imagining things. I was not popular and pretty. Quiet, frumpy and overweight.
A few years ago I was at Urgent care and a Doctor and a male nurse walked into my room. I thought to myself about the nurse " he is kind of cute, but a little short for my taste" The nurse asked all the typical health questions. But there was one question I thought was strange. It was " Do you live with a spouse or a significant other?" I was going to ask; why do you have to know this for what felt like severe strep throat? But I just said I live with my brother and sister. His body gave a noticeable shudder and then he gave me the biggest whole face smile I ever saw! I thought it was strange, why is he smiling? I feel like crap. He gave me a glass of water and a pill to calm the throat and left the room. And then hit me, maybe this guy is attracted to me. Which made me feel good but also surprising because I am not pretty or in good physical shape. He then came back in to tell me I didn't have strep and got closer to me than most people I know and casually grazed my arm and told me the usual stuff about resting and staying hydrated. But could tell he was trying to make the encounter last a little longer. Usually someone being that close to me would make me uncomfortable, but it did not with him. I almost said something like I hope your night is not too long to show him that I was also attracted to him. But then chickened out and just said thank you. Of course I never saw this guy again, because I am not a crazy person that hangs around the hospital urgent care. But I wish perhaps I would have showed him I was interested and maybe we would have stayed in contact. But of course I know asking for my phone number is not appropriate at a work environment like Urgent Care. But I kinda wish he had. I could never! Way too shy! Most likely nothing would have come of it. And making more of it in my head.
Also one other time a guy smiled at me with his whole face while he was running, I was walking. A little ways down the wooded path, he stopped to look at his phone, like he was waiting for me. He didn't give a creepy vibe, but because in a wooded area, decided to be safe and turn around.
And those are the only times I think guys have been attracted or interested in me. But of course maybe I am just seeing what I want to make myself feel good.

I had guy text me the new. I’ve had to go stay at my moms actually asked if he could come along. He normally only says he’s just friends. I want your opinion to tell me if you think it’s more than just friends and how would I actually make sure you know if he’s coming how much gas him so I wouldn’t be pushy

There's a man at my job like that & he had done given most of those signs ,but he tells me he's just doing it friendly &,he has a girlfriend ,and he went for a week for a visit to his family &,he took her, but I have kids &I'm confused.

Could you please help? I'm 63 on disability and newly dating a man on social security, we enjoy being together but it's hard to go on quality dates due to limited funds. A walk or having dinner we cook and a movie on TV is how we spend many of our dates. My question is we need advice how to move thru dating stages while on fixed low income and the pros and cons and pitfalls we might fall into. I enjoy your advice and am very curious how you would navigate a relationship under these conditions. Thank you.
Picnic in a park, free outdoor concerts, put on music and slow dance, early bird specials for dinner, strip poker, walk in the park, nature walk/hike, farmers market visits, go to an auction (dont have to buy anything) matinee movies, plan a day trip somewhere and bring Picnic lunch, go to the library and rent movies, play chess or checkers there, have friends over for game night

The person i like likes me too but the problem is he doesn't want to show. Sometimes he give subtle hints. Sometimes he is absolutely silent making me self doubt. He follows my social media. He promptly replies to my msg and he always try to clarify if he thinks im accusing him of something ( i do tell this sweetly and flirty way) so he responds. But he confuses me. Am i looking too deep? Or is it some kind of game im not aware of. Why does a person response and keep you tracks if he has no feeling for you?

Have noticed one female family member, one female friend and my guy are just not responsive via cell phone calls or texts, which, while frustrating, at least explains just that one deficiency while he does tick all the other boxes of attraction listed in this video.

He does none of these things 😂 we never speak seriously about something he always jokes around with me even after work when he asked me to go for a walk once it was just casual like 2 friends that were joking about everything. I literally tell him that I like him tho (in a funny flirty way, but i’ve done it so much that it’s pretty sure that i mean it), but he makes a joke of it and never really responds to it.
