I don't see how men and women can romantically bond with each other. I heard that women can build incredible friendships and become very close to each other in a way men can't bond, and I heard that science shows that women can bond very well with each other. I heard that generally, women are even more social than men are. After something bad happens, a woman quickly rushes to talk to all of her female friends to get support, whereas a male can isolate himself and grief alone. I also heard that women tend to be more emotional, more caring, more empathic, more compassionate, more affectionate, more loyal, more nurturing, more sympathetic, more sensitive, more kind hearted, more peaceful, more calmer, more gentle, more expressive, and more outward than men are, and thus bond more with other women in a special way that they can’t with men. Men, on the other hand, are not that emotional, and thus can’t bond with other men in a special way. I also heard that women are more comfortable being around with other women than they are with men. They have a type of bond that usually men with women won’t really have, or with men and men. I also heard that most women like to do affectionate things with their female friends like cuddling with them, while most men would never do affectionate things with their male friends (especially not cuddling with them). Men are usually much lonelier than women are. Men don't often talk about their personal problems with their male friends like how women do with their female friends. I also heard that females produce a lot more oxytocin than males do. And that's a reason why girls tend to hug a lot more and be a lot more physically affectionate than guys do. I also heard that women are very unique creatures, and women feel a lot safer in general with other women than they do with men if either is alone with each other, and it is easier for women to trust other women more than it is to trust a man. I also heard that women are very sociable with each other, so if something goes wrong, they like to speak about it to each other. This is a way to develop trust among women. Women often relate their problems with other women, which makes them feel more connected in a way. I also heard that most daughters have a very strong bond with their mother, while they don’t have one with their father, and most sons don’t have that strong of a bond with neither their mother nor their father. One thing I learned from watching body language videos is that when a guy sees you, such as you're passing by each other at work, he'll raise his eyebrows. Usually accompanied with that open smile but sometimes he might be self-conscious and not smile but isn't aware he's raising his eyebrows. Once I knew this, I started watching this guy who I thought liked me and he did it! He also did the man spreading thing once so noticeably I thought he was trying to do the splits! He did many of the things mentioned in this video but then it turns out he's a malignant narcissist who made my bosses think I was chasing him and he had no interest in me.
Oppss... That's crazy! This suggests that this body language signals interest but doesn't necessarily mean that the other person has good intentions for you.

The guy I hope likes me was always really polite to just me. We were in an after school group of about 40 girls and 3 guys(it was a dance troop) and he would always kind of stick with the other guys and stay silent. Hey y'all I'm not a native English speaker just so you know :) Ok so this might be long, but bare with me. I've been talking to my crush for 6 months, he's 4 years older that me too, we used to hangout like once in 2 weeks because we're both college students and it's difficult to find some free time for us both to see each other sooner. I can tell that he used to care about me, I mean I live in a different city and have to travel to my college by bus,but he would go with me to the station and wait for the bus to come(would leave only when I'd get inside) always would ask if I came back home safely. We would playfully fight on who's gonna pay for coffee first(he would sometimes pay without telling me and act as if nothing happened, but of course I'd buy it back next time when we'd meet up bc I don't want to use him) fast forward to 3 months of talking : we were talking about something in his car and all of the sudden he asked me if I wanted a neck massage :o (I already had a tiny crush on him so I accepted the offer) then during debember he was back in his own hometown so we didn't really talk, every few days I guess but when January came, we met up right after new years for a coffee. After that we hung out 2 weeks later and when we were near this lake, he told me to get out of the car with him. I did and he went to the truck to take something out. It was already dark so I could hardly see what he was holding in his hand. Took out a tank full of gasoline and poured it over the object. I then saw that it was a notebook that he lit up on fire. I asked him jokingly why couldn't he just drop it into a trashcan or something and he replied that it was an album full of photos with him and his ex gf(she gave it to him as a gift) so yeah, basically he burned an album in front of me.. Fast forward to 2 more weeks, we went to a sea museum and after that I was about to go to the bus station but he was like "let's go to my car, I'll take you there, but before that let's go grab some coffee" I was happy that he wanted me to stay so I agreed :) that sneaky bish paid for my cup AGAIN.. When we were chilling in his car out of the sudden he started to hit my thigh gently/playfully and I didn't really say anything, I mean I didn't mind it one bit and after that there were a few firm squeezes here and there and the he told me that I have nice, strong legs🤣 Fast forward to valentine's day.. I invited him to hangout sometime that week but the only free day that he had was 14th of February. So we met up, took some coffee with us and went on a 2 hour walk 🙃 Again fast forward to 2 more weeks we met up for coffee and that was the last time that I saw him /had any usual conversation.. Ok so almost 2 weeks ago I invited him to come over to my town I he didn't have any plans on Saturday. He responded that at the time he haven't planned anything and if nothing won't show up, he'll come. Then on Friday evening I asked if he's still coming and his response was that he doesn't know, that there's a possibility that his friend will be coming, but if he won't show up, T will come over. This Friday will mark exactly 2 weeks since I last heard from him. Like come on, at least you could've messaged me and told me that you won't make it.

Right now he's very far away because of work but we talk/message each other as often as we can. Also because of the virus last year I barely saw him, like I've mentioned before, back then I saw him 4 or 5 times, but after that I saw him 2 more times in 2020. Thank God this year he came back to my university's town, so we were able to see each other more often. Not much of an update I guess

Ryan, I've watched all your TH-cam videos and going by this video, my "crush" has displayed 9 of the signs in your video but not approached me for a date. In addition to the 9 "signs", he's complimented me on my appearance several times, sent me a personal thank you note for bread that I made for him, and winked at me as he was leaving his office to treat another patient. However, he's my Chiropractor so I don't know if he's interested but professionally prohibited from dating a patient. He is a widower and his wife died 4 years ago. I am trying very hard not to be obvious or do or say anything that could be taken as me being "forward" but this man makes me feel like no man that I've ever met. We are both in our 60's. Based on what you e described, the only artificial barrier that’s separating either of you from making a move on each other is, well... professionalism. You’ve got 5 more treatments with him, so play the role of the cordial patient, but be connected with him and just be present. When the treatments end, so does the professional relationship, so it’s time to seize the day! Ask this man to grab a drink, or go for a walk, or whatever you think would be fun! If he says no, it’s OK! You’ve teased it out and you didn’t let a perfectly good opportunity to go to waste. You’ll be glad you did regardless of the end result 😉 Good luck

He was pretty chatty at my appointment yesterday volunteering detailed information about his children and their importance to him. I sensed he was a bit "off" at the appointment but I attributed that to the fact that this week is the 4 year anniversary of his wife's death. Thanks for your encouragement.

This is the best video what Ive seen so far from this subject. I began to search some advices and clues, because there is this one guy and he has been looking at me from the very first time we've met. We have this same hobby. When we are in the class he is always looking in to my eyes and smiles. He doesnt do that for other women. When he comes out of the room and sees me there, he is taking a long look at my direction to make sure that Ive seen it. Plus he has done some silly things to make me laugh. Haha not always. My husband acted the complete opposite at our first dates. He was never directing his body or feet towards me, barely smiled, totally avoided looking at me or touching me lol and i thought in fact that he didn't like me .... turns out he was smitten. He still isn't a very touchy person and he rarely initiates touches, but he does do the protective hand on the lower back when he's guiding me through a crowd. And he does look into my eyes very much now.

Same interests same humour, we laughed all the time. We went away for the weekend - separate hotel rooms. After 2 months he changed daily calls to weekly texts until I dropped him. Looking back, he was interested in me - he displayed all the body language signs - but only for sex and when I made it clear that I was not into casual sex he lost interest. I later found out he was married with children so all he wanted was a side chick.

😂😂😂 it was hard not to! I spent the first 30secs staring nothing but the board. Then wondering if I was the only one that had noticed these words were in great big bold letters whilst the other I needed 20/20 vision or something.
Things I've noticed him do: -Smirk while talking to me (maybe trying to hide his smile? Idk) - staring at me from across the room -preening, fixing his hair rubbing the back of his head and neck - getting really close to me - taking up space; sitting sprawled or trying to make his upper body bigger (putting both his hand behind his neck) -shifting in his seat, wiping his brow -not sure about touching the throat -parted lips -pivoting his body towards me (most of is body language i've noticed is from the upper body, like pointing his chest towards me ) However, he is a terrible texter , like on text it feels the opposite. (Short replies after hours, it feels like I'm dragging the convo usually, tho we've had some good convos too, but i can't help feeling he's not interested, over text, but in person he's giving almost all the signs lol)(other people say he's a bad texter and he said so himself too, but i think its not true since we've had good convos too) Someone pls tell me wtf is going on
My college sweetheart was very into me but his eyebrows didn't move like crazy everytime he looked at me and he didn't lick his lips like players do, he didn't raise his voice or sit up taller. If in a group he looks down and always stands infront of me, even if he talks to other women he stands infront of me. When it is me and him alone he keeps eyecontact. He comes close but never touch. The guy I hope likes me was always really polite to just me. We were in an after school group of about 40 girls and 3 guys(it was a dance troop) and he would always kind of stick with the other guys and stay silent. Ok so this might be long, but bare with me. I've been talking to my crush for 6 months, he's 4 years older that me too, we used to hangout like once in 2 weeks because we're both college students and it's difficult to find some free time for us both to see each other sooner. I can tell that he used to care about me, I mean I live in a different city and have to travel to my college by bus,but he would go with me to the station and wait for the bus to come(would leave only when I'd get inside) always would ask if I came back home safely. We would playfully fight on who's gonna pay for coffee first(he would sometimes pay without telling me and act as if nothing happened, but of course I'd buy it back next time when we'd meet up bc I don't want to use him) fast forward to 3 months of talking : we were talking about something in his car and all of the sudden he asked me if I wanted a neck massage :o (I already had a tiny crush on him so I accepted the offer) then during debember he was back in his own hometown so we didn't really talk, every few days I guess but when January came, we met up right after new years for a coffee. After that we hung out 2 weeks later and when we were near this lake, he told me to get out of the car with him. I did and he went to the truck to take something out. It was already dark so I could hardly see what he was holding in his hand. Took out a tank full of gasoline and poured it over the object. I then saw that it was a notebook that he lit up on fire. I asked him jokingly why couldn't he just drop it into a trashcan or something and he replied that it was an album full of photos with him and his ex gf(she gave it to him as a gift) so yeah, basically he burned an album in front of me..
Fast forward to 2 more weeks, we went to a sea museum and after that I was about to go to the bus station but he was like "let's go to my car, I'll take you there, but before that let's go grab some coffee" I was happy that he wanted me to stay so I agreed :) that sneaky bish paid for my cup AGAIN.. When we were chilling in his car out of the sudden he started to hit my thigh gently/playfully and I didn't really say anything, I mean I didn't mind it one bit and after that there were a few firm squeezes here and there and the he told me that I have nice, strong legs🤣
Fast forward to valentine's day.. I invited him to hangout sometime that week but the only free day that he had was 14th of February. So we met up, took some coffee with us and went on a 2 hour walk 🙃
Again fast forward to 2 more weeks we met up for coffee and that was the last time that I saw him /had any usual conversation.. Ok so almost 2 weeks ago I invited him to come over to my town I he didn't have any plans on Saturday. He responded that at the time he haven't planned anything and if nothing won't show up, he'll come. Then on Friday evening I asked if he's still coming and his response was that he doesn't know, that there's a possibility that his friend will be coming, but if he won't show up, T will come over. This Friday will mark exactly 2 weeks since I last heard from him. Like come on, at least you could've messaged me and told me that you won't make it.
What happened next ???
@@malena9513 heheh, I forgot that I wrote this big paragraph :D well after a month covid hit us, but he reaped, we're still good friends, he even helped me to buy my first fricking car! Right now he's very far away because of work but we talk/message each other as often as we can. Also because of the virus last year I barely saw him, like I've mentioned before, back then I saw him 4 or 5 times, but after that I saw him 2 more times in 2020. Thank God this year he came back to my university's town, so we were able to see each other more often. Not much of an update I guess

Ryan, I've watched all your TH-cam videos and going by this video, my "crush" has displayed 9 of the signs in your video but not approached me for a date. In addition to the 9 "signs", he's complimented me on my appearance several times, sent me a personal thank you note for bread that I made for him, and winked at me as he was leaving his office to treat another patient. However, he's my Chiropractor so I don't know if he's interested but professionally prohibited from dating a patient. He is a widower and his wife died 4 years ago. I am trying very hard not to be obvious or do or say anything that could be taken as me being "forward" but this man makes me feel like no man that I've ever met. We are both in our 60's. Ryan, thank you so much for responding to my comment. That is great news that I'm not reading more into the situation than I should be because of MY feelings for him. He was pretty chatty at my appointment yesterday volunteering detailed information about his children and their importance to him. I sensed he was a bit "off" at the appointment but I attributed that to the fact that this week is the 4 year anniversary of his wife's death. Thanks for your encouragement.

This is the best video what Ive seen so far from this subject. I began to search some advices and clues, because there is this one guy and he has been looking at me from the very first time we've met. We have this same hobby. When we are in the class he is always looking in to my eyes and smiles. He doesnt do that for other women. When he comes out of the room and sees me there, he is taking a long look at my direction to make sure that Ive seen it. Plus he has done some silly things to make me laugh. I'm actually not sure what "my guy" does because I can't really look at him. We've only gone out once so I know I'll get better with time but I'm afraid of how I come off. I'll think about this next time. Maybe if I'm looking at him to decode his body language I find it easier.

Haha not always. My husband acted the complete opposite at our first dates. He was never directing his body or feet towards me, barely smiled, totally avoided looking at me or touching me lol and i thought in fact that he didn't like me .... turns out he was smitten. He still isn't a very touchy person and he rarely initiates touches, but he does do the protective hand on the lower back when he's guiding me through a crowd. And he does look into my eyes very much now.

Same interests same humour, we laughed all the time. We went away for the weekend - separate hotel rooms. After 2 months he changed daily calls to weekly texts until I dropped him. Looking back, he was interested in me - he displayed all the body language signs - but only for sex and when I made it clear that I was not into casual sex he lost interest. I later found out he was married with children so all he wanted was a side chick.

However, he is a terrible texter , like on text it feels the opposite. (Short replies after hours, it feels like I'm dragging the convo usually, tho we've had some good convos too, but i can't help feeling he's not interested, over text, but in person he's giving almost all the signs lol)(other people say he's a bad texter and he said so himself too, but i think its not true since we've had good convos too)

What if he makes a power stance, near me in a group when talking to another woman? Seen him doing it twice when i am near.
Problems to read a guy. If in a group he looks down and always stands infront of me, even if he talks to other women he stands infront of me. When it is me and him alone he keeps eyecontact. He comes close but never touch. Etc.when he walks near me, he turns his head away like he would look at me.
