  • Hello Sim Enthusiasts,
I got wind of a frame gen mod that can be used in FS2020 (thanks Island Sim Pilot). Anyway I thought I would give it a try on my system, but as I found out it does not like a multi-monitor config.
Apologies in advance for the voice audio. Had a slight issue with Voicemeeter in recording this one......

Thanks for this. I was thinking of trying it, but I use 3 monitors.

Most welcome James. Trust it was useful for you........

That’s exactly what happens to me. Now I’ve learned if you take the mouse cursor off the main screen and focus it on say the taskbar or another open screen, the ghosting stops.

Now there are two very small programs you can use in unison to automate that. That’s only if frame gen works out better for you. I keep FG off because I lose performance with it on..

cheers mate. I am going to post another video soon as I have moved back to DLSS as a result of upgrading my screens...stay tuned for that one.

@@CessSim When you move back to DLSS, do not forget to pair it with DLAA. All the other options like quality, balanced, performance involve some level of downscaling the image and then upscaling to your monitors native resolution which can lead to fuzzy instruments and such. DLAA involves NO DOWNSCALING at all, it is AI Deep Learning Anti Aliasing and its image quality is BETTER than TAA. If you have a high end card like the 4000 series I also suggest pairing DLSS+DLAA with DSR. DSR is a little different than DLSS, DSR or Dynamic Super Resolutions UPSCALES the image as the card is rendering the image and than it downscales it to your monitors native resolution. DSR gives me enhanced clarity within the sim, especially in VR.

I have a 3 Monitor setup like you. With a 4090 and i9 and ultra settings but no other tunings I get 30+ fps. Fully ok with rare stutter at high detailed fields. However the problem I have is that for each flight the monitors are not well matching at the junctions so I have to tune them before. Any idea what is the solution?

HI Johannes. Nice work on the PC !! RTX4090 and i9 should be pretty impressive. I trust you have decent 4K screens?? With respects to the lining up, if you have physical variances between your bezels then it wont line up perfectly (which is where XPlane is better as you can compensate for this). I have set my monitors to within 1mm of each other in terms of bezel height which took some trial and error. FS2020 still has a marginal variance more noticeable on the front /right side, but pretty good generally. Have a look at your bezels and ensure you are properly aligned........

Hi. Love your channel and sim. I see that on msfs you have the issue most people do with the virtual cockpit being shown. I have a simple mod (instructions you can do yourself using notepad to edit a file) which removes 95% - I think your sim would then look perfect because you physical structure would hide the other 5%. If you are interested do you have an email address

cheers mate. That would be interesting as I havent seen such a mod anywhere. If you go to my channel you will find the link in the "About" Section for the email.........
