- In this video Chris and I fish a tournament put on by the Tennessee Mad Catters. They’re a local catfishing tournament trail Here in middle Tennessee. Hey I noticed you don’t have your slime cat rods anymore! Did you not like them? Do you like the hellcats better?
I liked the rod a lot, just didn’t like how long the handle was. When I asked they had no clue on when the carbons with short handles would be in so we made the switch. I absolutely love the Hellcats…. Very well made, just like the SlimeCats. We got Heavy rods so they have a ton of backbone while still having a super sensitive tip.

Been enjoying your videos my dad and I also have a tracker 165 WT… We also have the slime cat rods and ended up getting the cat force one T bars after watching your video! We’ll look forward to seeing some more videos this year!

How did you like the slimecat reels?
They were okay for the price. Had a lot of issues with the drag sticking though.
@@trackercatfishing5851 what would you recommend I want a squall but can't find them in stock and heard they can't cast. Would the catmaxx work for bank fishing for big Catfish?
@@redneckcatfishing I bought all penn squalls and absolutely love them. Haven’t had any issues casting them at all. I’d go that route. They’re not the cheapest but yet aren’t outrageously expensive like others. I loved the catmaxx as well but found the plastic gears broke after a couple years of hard fishing. They were great though.
