Just wanted to reach out and say thanks for this video, it has been very helpful for me today, having a severe flare during week 3 of low FODMAP elimination and it’s very downheartening, but your comment during this vid of not obsessing over what it might have caused it has struck home.
    Thankyou for helping a stranger!

I’m applying to colleges right now and coming back to school has been crazy stressful for a bunch of reasons. Prioritizing self care and supporting my pain honestly fell to the back burner. I’m so glad I stumbled upon this video :)

Best of luck with your applications. 🤞🏻 We're all guilty of self neglect at some time but recognising it is a great first step towards bringing it back into balance. So pleased you found this video at the right time for you. Take care 🤗

❤ this was so timely; actually it would always be as I have such severe anxiety which exacerbates things but especially today...so happy to see it in my subscription

Thank you so much for this. Really appreciate the description of the intestine etc for alongside massaging. I am in some great pain this eve and with minimal stress and low fodmap (no stacking) I can't figure out where I have gone wrong. 2 weeks in it is still a little sole destroying. But thank you for this, I knew I saved it for a reason. Victoria

Thanks so much Victoria, sorry to hear you're struggling today. It can be really frustrating to feel like we're doing all the right things and still get no relief. It did take me at least 4 weeks to feel a noticable difference in the beginning, which seemed like forever at the time. Hopefully things will start to turnaround for the better in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, sending big virtual hugs. 🤗

I absolutely love your channel! I feel like I've been silently suffering with this and no one seems to understand how painful this can be. Even though I'm in the US, you help me feel not so alone with this wretched illness! I appreciate you taking the time to educate us and teach us how to get through it. I recently had a flare up so bad, I ended up in the hospital. I'm currently trying the low fodmap diet and resting a bit and I hope this all helps. I'm curious, did the drs prescribe medication for you? Is this also part of your self-care? Thank you for being you!! I'll keep watching your lovely videos!!❤

Thanks so much for your lovely comment. I know all too well what a long and lonely road it can be. Hearing that my videos have helped is a huge comfort to me and my own journey. I'm lucky enough to only rarely need to take over the counter medications for cramps and diarrhoea, such as buscopan or loperamide. Unfortunately for some reason whenever I take these types of medications I swing from diarrhoea to constipation which makes me feel worse. Because of this I try to avoid these medications wherever possible. Overall I'm happy with the level of symptom relief I can achieve with diet, lifestyle, stress relief and self help adjustments. However, I would consider adding in medication if I felt it was the only option open to me. Best of luck to you. 🤞🏻
