The most amazing thing about this is how Leon shone on the mic. He's never been regarded as much of a talker, but this might be best post fight interview ever. it's got it all, cold one liners, tear jerking passion, a roaring crowd and bedlam in the stadium. watched this so many times already.

So many people said Edwards didn't even deserve the shot. Most underrated, most disrespected fighter in the sport. Casuals with opinions. Baffling. Look at him now! Leon Edwards is the quintessential gray man/ dark horse. He does not train at altitude and EPO dope so the altitude really affected his output throughout the fight. The headkick was well read and calculated. Incredible.

Yeah the rocky chant was phenomenal to see. And Usman has never been an underdog and since getting the title, he has only really fought crowd favourites or during a crowdless pandemic, so wouldn't expect the crowd to roar that much for him.

I would love to see them clip is first call to his mom after the Muhammad no contest, breaking down crying never being able to catch a break and just having unfortunate set back after setback, to him calling his mom, after becoming champion, trying to convince himself that the Rocky road had light at the end of it.

He is so explosive and agile, I knew if someone can do it in WW division its him. His technique is flawless, I dont know why everybody doubted him for so long. And he is likeable down to earth guy compared to Usman and the rest of the division, so Im very glad he got the belt in a such beautiful style. Few more shots were super necessary but it is what it is...
