He may not be good enough to beat Usman, but he's going to hang around the top 5 in this division for quite some time.
I actually think he will beat Usman. He didn’t do horrible the first time they fought even tho he wasn’t training grappling at a high level and he’s definitely improved in that department. If he can avoid being controlled against the cage I can absolutely see him winning
Exactly. Cerrone is a good striker so as he was dodging that left, his arm was already up and partially blocked that head kick. On the other hand, Usman fell for the feint. Good strikers can predict shots well.
Both Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad have a record of 18-3, they both have had exactly 12 fights in the UFC, and although they both started out 2-2 in the UFC, they both won 8 of their last 9 fights.

Edwards is unreal. We definitely need to see more of this man.
Don't worry every time he fights you get at least 15 minutes of footage to watch
and you will especially after being able to replay that knockout he just had on Usman for years to come humbled that cocky bastard.
these days 25 mins per fight lbs
Leon is the man now soooo deserved
'Jamaica?'
'No, she went of her own accord'
Timeless classic
😂
‘Jakarta?’
‘No, she took the plane’
Humble and very smarty guy who can do anything to torture u inside the octagon
Notice how he isn't 1 dimensional,he can finish you anywhere, real mixed martial artist
That Masvidal fight needs to happen someday.
@Rashidi the speedy ellis is the best 🤣🤣couldn’t even ko him with a sucker punch
@@god8331 Not a good diss
@Rashidi the speedy ellis is the best Mas is much quicker. I think he would take the fight if Leon actually peaks fan's interest.
@@jesseramirez9205 A true one tho
Leon would outpatient Jorge
He’s just a well rounded fighter, so skilled and high IQ
Man! That is a polished diamond, his techniques are so clean.
Leon is so technical, its an art
The way he catches dos anjos's flying knee and put him on the ground is epic
"I want Cejudo in Hollywood" ~Aljo
“I want Masvidal in Miami”
- Leon Edwards
he lost against Masvidal in UK lol
I've been watching all of Leon's fights today. I must say he's becoming one of my favorite fighters. All I see is him beat people up and not really get beat up that bad in the process.
Still true till today lol Leons the man
When this vedio was released everyone said he's all hype and Usman will destroy him look at him, look at him now defeated Usman×2 One of the best all-rounder of Welterweight division history .
Cowboy fought all the young monsters. So much respect to him!!
Leon's wrestling and grappling was so overlooked!
today we are looking at the man who ended usman's reign and beat him twice
This man deserves more respect and promotion from the Ufc.
That catch when dos anjos flew a knee was damn good
That thumbnail is exactly how he became champion
At the end of the day no matter how good still can’t finish most opponents. Always goes to decision . There’s something about knocking your opponent out that gives you that respect .
Does he have your respect now?
Lol
damn that thumbnail aged really well
So happy for this guy! He's deserve to be next for a title match
No he doesn't

Amazing fighter. Criminally underrated
6:21 the way Jon Anik tied both fights together was smooth like butter my guy 🧈
Now yall see why Masvidal avoided him. Wonderboy turned him down a few years ago as well... just so yall know. Dudes a beast. Humble and works hard.
He was ducking wonderboy
@@vincenzoi8405 he injured his hand
The UFC cares more about shareholders now than it does creating good matchups. Pampered celebrity fighters are ruining this sport.
Dude no one wants to see a boring fighter people want to see Fighters that can sell
When Chandler promotes himself you complain too. UFC fans are something else
I like michael Chandler I never complain about him you thinking about the ones that did Complain about him so don't assume I did I not like these useless ufc Fans that love to wine
@@kadariuswilliams8076 edwards isn’t a boring fighter though!
It's not the fact that he's a boring fighter it's the fact that the guy doesn't know how to finish off he's opinions when the opportunity comes that's why people hated him
Leon is a technical machine
People act like he's only been crushing cans, Barbarena, Nelson, Cerrone, RDA, Diaz are all top 20 or better fighters, and the Luque win has aged tremendously with him now being an animal in the top 5.

4:47 HEADSHOT BANG KICK THAT TOOK OUT USMAN
Exactly. Cerrone is a good striker so as he was dodging that left, his arm was already up and partially blocked that head kick. On the other hand, Usman fell for the feint. Good strikers can predict shots well.
The most aesthetic man on the planet the myth the Legend Leon edward

Both Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad have a record of 18-3, they both have had exactly 12 fights in the UFC, and although they both started out 2-2 in the UFC, they both won 8 of their last 9 fights.
Interesting
Nothing but respect for him.
He is in the Top 5 in this division.
Such an underrated win streak. Tumenov is a great fighter and just look at what Luque has done since that loss.
Edwards won't get the casual recognition because of the lack of finishes but he's so so good.
This is why leon edwards has the best physique in the UFC
*in the universe
His physique cures cancer
Poetry in motion. I didn't realize his wrestling/grappling was as good as it is.
He seems pretty chill
*Leon Edwards is The True Dark Horse of the Welterweight Division*
Ponzinnibio was the dark horse :(
Rocky Edwards is no joke
Bro he looks so average
Nah man he is just an average point fighter the real dark horse is Vicente Luque
@Jordan Conor is not a dark horse , he’s a show pony
I was in San Antonio 3rd row floor seats for the Edwards vs RDA fight the technicality of Edwards is crazy and his movement is extremely fluid and smooth
*"I'm not impressed by your performance."*
_- 3 piece with a soda_
He’s a big welterweight and he fights like a big guy, his speed and technique aren’t the best ever but it looks like that guy is rough to share the ring with
his speed and technique are what make him good. Did you rewatch his fight with RDA?
He's got legs like tree trunks.
actually his punch speed is deceivingly quick with little telegraphing, and has very good footwork.
he just manages his stamina well. but can move fast out of dangerous situations when he needs too.
seen him do sprints on a training vlog aswell man can run
@@andrethevegan_ His speed is okay. His technique is more impressive.
Maybe not speed but his technique is his greatest strength.
Edwards have a very good striking skill set .. he does not get enough credit for the technique he has of his punches .. one of the best jabs top5 jabs in UFC
Leon is a bit of a decision machine, but the people he’s fought have been hard to put away.
He is the most methodical fighter I have ever seen. He’s not great at one thing but really good at everything at all times
Recency bias
@@josechamu240lmao what
He’s a damn great striker I’ll say that lol
Very humble and respectful guy, wish him the best.
The more Vincente wins the better it make Edward looks. Thompson broke both hands in order beat Luque.
1 and a 1/2 years later we got ourselves a new welterweight champ
i know hindsight is 20/20, but this guy look like a champion
Guy seems super balanced. Just "pretty dang good" at literally everything. That is scary.
