I've seen a couple of comments about people saying they can't stand Usman. I don't particularly like his fighting style, but as a person, you can't deny he is a class act. He didn't shy away from anything after losing to Leon and openly admitted how perfect that head kick was and made no excuses. I want Leon to win this fight, but I wouldn't be disheartened if Usman was to get this one back either.
He wasn’t humble at all until he got his lights shut .
yeah people say this and that about Usman, his persona etc etc, me too, I've never cheered for him in any of his fights, but the fact is - he was (and maybe will be in the future) a very good champion - active, with lots of highlights - for his division.
His fighting style last few fights was knocking people out. Probably cost him honestly

@@enbonj5842Def did. Which sucks cuz he’s clearly not a bad striker and has improved significantly as we’ve seen from the Khamzet fight. But in comparison to Leon, there’s jus an obvious skill gap. He was always good at mixing his striking and wrestling together, that’s why his performance against Jorge in the second fight was so impressive.

It’s an interesting contrast between the two of them. Leon is the champion but it still feels like he’s trying to prove something in this situation. Usman is still trying to big brother him. This is an interesting fight.

Fighting is not easy from a skill perspective. But in the mind you need battle past the opponent wants to ko you clean. Respect to all these elite fighters. They are very highly skilled individuals.
