I didn't put in an initial thoughts portion, but it's stable, easy to drive, suspension a little soft for this track, seems durable. Tires aren't right for it, I need to put on some larger knobby tires as this is really more of a rough basher track. Engine revs slow, it doesn't really ramp up like a race engine. I'm pretty sure it's the same as the Force 3.5 in my HPI Trophy. The Kyoshos have better engines for sure.
Thats a pretty nice buggy. Is it a bit nose heavy? Looks like it wants to nose in a little out of the jumps. My favorite RTR buggy was the Ofna Violator. I think i bought 2 of them. They came in this nice big carrier bag with a buch of tools. I miss them. Super cheap and man they were good buggies.
Hi wondering if the .21 pull start engine that comes with this kit be switched to a Big Block .28 or .32 with a pull start or Roto start ? If it’s possible can the same .21 motor mounts be use ?
Love this buggy , good to learn with then replace the engine and servos with better quality and upgrade parts to the race kit srx8 I’ve raced this buggy at revealation raceway and took out to thunderalley recommend for someone to learn or keep for the long run. #serpentcomeback
Hey what nitro fuel/glow plug combo are you using on yours? I'm having trouble getting mine to start despite priming and preheating the engine and everything (using the stock glow plug and 20% nitro fuel)
I think an OS #8 with 25%. Watch my nitro starting video, adding some throttle with the trigger helps. Also make 100% sure fuel has reached the carb/engine.

Yes, 10 tanks, I was babying the car because I couldn't get the engine up to temp. Was pretty cold and windy.
