      IF YOU HAVE A BIG WHITE WALL ON THE SIDE OF YOUR HOUSE:
      Build a good size decking, build a large size greenhouse on top that decking put the projector inside point it towards the wall and a small oil-filled heater.
      Then why not add some (4) good condish used car seats from some car recycling plants install it permanently to the decking.
      You’re ready for a British winter time outdoor cinema.

    anyone considering doing this for a garden consider a large umbrella and then make a shelf that bolts around the stem then put the projector on the shelf as high as possible. this protects it from the rain and allows you to watch it if its raining

    Long before I took the plunge to buy a flat screen TV (a 75-inch 4K LG model), I bought a $250 120-inch widescreen pull-down projection screen for only $100 on eBay and a $1,200 Canon LCD projector for only $250 on eBay, so for $350 I had a massive 120-inch viewing experience (up to 300 inches with the Canon projector) compared to a 55-inch or 65-inch TV that would have cost over $2,000 to $3,000 at the time. :)

    Awesome. Definitely looking for a projector to buy affordable but can project atleast that size. I was wondering if u could take a fresnel lens from an old projector tv or laptop screen and increase the screen size double or triple if position correctly?

The difference is amazing!!! I'll be packing up my optoma HD and shipping it to Hungary for when I get a house built there.

    That is a really awesome setup and I have projector that this month makes a year that I've owned it now and it is a really good projector and works well when it is dark outside it is a mirror surge series Pico projector and is 400 lumens 720 DPI has an excellent contrast ratio it is also a smart projector so that you can hook up to Wi-Fi and used and download building apps like TH-cam or Tubi TV Slacker Radio other things like that it also has an HDMI input so that if you plug in something like a fire stick or somewhere device you can put it right through it up onto the screen and it also has a USB where you can plug in a flash drive and if you have movies or any other content pictures for audio it will put that up on the screen as well and also has to build in small speakers but it has Bluetooth so you can connect it to an external speaker as well as a 3.5 mm line output that I had got from Best Buy for $250 it has a built-in battery that can run for about an hour and a half or just leave the AC adapter plugged in I was very pleased with how the picture quality looked on it

    I love your setup 250inch outdoors cinema. Nice OPTOMA projector. I have an old Theme scene 720p OPTOMA projector with OPTOMA 84 screen. I’m seriously thinking of upgrading to a full HD Optoma projector & I got enough esparce to get 120” screen. I had the projector for over 7 years & I originally bought from Richer Sounds for £689 screen at the time was only £79. Anyway u got a really nice setup cheers peace.

    I have a cheap projector that I project onto the back of my garage (About a 13-14 foot screen) and use the Anker Soundcore Rave for a speaker. I wish the projector was better quality, but in all honesty, It's really not that bad. The Soundcore... Way overkill for what everyone would need for a small outdoor setup. I primarily use it for Blue Jays games.

    Anyone ever do this when out on a boat? Was thinking it would be really cool to somehow put a screen hanging down from the Bimini top and set up a short throw projector!!!! Everyone could hang In the water and watch a movie!
    We did this while on vacation three years ago and chilled in the pool while watching a huge projector and it was a hit!!
    If anyone has some experience doing this on a boat please let me know!!!!

    • @evilkidd1876
      @evilkidd1876 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      paul jobin ..sure brother.
      Cons- there is no aux plug for external speakers. Pro point- chances are you wont even need speakers as the jmgo does pump loud and with clarity. Very impressive. But... If youre a tech and bass junkie like myself.. You always have the option to bluetooth to a set of speakers. I myself use Monster but whatever tickles your fancy.
      Cons- it is bit dark in image ..but with the right setting its easily overcome. Dont get me wrong the image is amazing as a gamer i always like to get the picture as bright as possible sometimes.
      Cons- trying to figure out how to install apks can be frustrating. Pro point- be patient... You'll get there
      Thats pretty much all i can think of that is a negative.
      Pro points-
      Can be used as a bluetooth speaker
      Has a battery life of 3.5 to 5.5 hours
      You can watch movies or game with image casted onto your ceiling
      Hdmi and usb
      Very clear image. I normally have it sized roughly around 120 to 150 inches on my bedroom ceiling. Its the shit lol weve had movie nights with the screen being sized 200 to 300+ ..and no problems.
      Its light and compact so its easy to take with you on the go.
      The remotes are legit awesome and the digital focus is as easy as turning the volume up and down.
      Anywho my man. Hope that helps. Any further questions feel free to ask champ.

So I mean it depends if you don't care about the best quality obviously the picture looks amazing but wasn't like as good as one with the lamp. But they are good it's better to buy one with the lamp that way you can always replace it

      An Epson Home Cinema 880. With this projector you can get a 25 foot wide picture with plenty of brightness.

    So how many people actually took out their tape measure to measure the screen since your saying that it's not 250"?

    • @Crushonius
      @Crushonius 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Listen we are just not stupid a 250 inch projection is more than 10 feet (3 meters) high
      and when you look at 2:20 the picture is not even as tall as the glass door .
      i have never seen a glass door taller than maybe 8 feet .
      my best guess is that its about 120-130 inches so the picture at 250 inches would be double the height and width of what you see in the video
