What are the dimensions of the room and how much did it cost in total?
I got a cinema room that looks similar in size costed about 50k for the screen, chairs, projecter and everything else

Sabahaddin Arslan idk I just saved up a bunch of money and have been wanting to do this for like 3 years now but 50k is a good amount to pay for a pretty decent projecter speakers and other stuff plus I had to do some work and paint on the walls and had to hire people that’s why it was around 50k but you could manage decently with 15-20k on it spend more on the projecter and some on some speakers it will be worth it
But I also got some of those movie chairs the ones in the theatre that recline and those costed a lot of money too addvice just save extra money that you don’t know what to do with and save up till you can afford to buy everything you need whatever you spend is up to you

@@TrixtaTV I mean I wouldn't buy a "Really good quality Projector screen" most of that is hogwash in my experience. We bought a 2k screen, and it went back a week later. It was barely better than our 350 dollar Silver Ticket screen.
There is also Screen paint mixes, that destroy those "High End" screens, if you have a perfectly flat surface. Alot of those screens are snake oil.
And what about a subwoofer or two? Lol

I know this video was a long time ago but out of interest, how did you switch your stare lights on? Did you manage to use a wall switch/light switch or did it only work when you pressed the remote? In the process of creating this but really hoping I can have it controlled by the light switch
why go with fiber optics? couldnt you drill the holes and just use a normal led lights behind the board, the light would shine trough the holes anyway
True but that will make spotlights and it wont look as godd as this one. This is just like stars but I perspnally think it is useless but it is beautiful tho.

Good job on the home theatre. Looks comfortable. And while I see why you put your U-shaped sofa where you did...it's going to affect the way you hear sound. Mostly the surround channels. Which DO matter. Plus, while the geometric lines look good..you will at some point likely want to put sound absorbing and reflecting panels to control the sound reflections and how they get to your ears...or not. :) Just to things to consider. If possible I'd move the sofa FWD a few feet...put a long table behind you for your items.

I would like to add that streaming videos often lose quality in picture and sound. So, even though those movies are on Disneyplus, if they want a complete experience without losing any quality, then blu-ray discs are so worth it. I have experienced it first hand. I connected my laptop to my projector and av receiver and noticed a steep drop in audio and picture quality. When I put the same movie on my blu-ray player, the difference was amazing.
ArmoredGaming blue ray discs become laggy when they come in contact with dust so they ain't cool

I totally get that watching movies or TV shows is your one way to relax. I know a 45 min tv show is my one break throughout the day when editing wedding films that we do.

Really nice job. Please consider getting the center channel off the floor. It's the most important speaker, and raising it closer to ear level will do wonders in your home theater sound.

Yep, you're right, it is. Maybe instead of making comments online and trying to gather sentiment from other broke losers about what you don't have, get off your ass and learn something, use that knowledge to make more money, and buy whatever makes you happy. You don't need to go to school to learn a marketable skill or two, and you don't need to get "hired" anywhere if you work for yourself so a "degree" isn't necessary unless you're looking to be a doctor or lawyer. People need people who can get a job done, done right, and they will pay.
Nowadays, information is free online, and if you take the time to learn something, and I mean READ, not watch TH-cam tutorials, you'll know more about that subject than 99% of people out there. Because people in general are lazy, but they all need things done, and they're going to pay somebody to do whatever it is for them. Why not you?

any chance you can provide more detail on the cinema ceiling? For instance how you connected the panels to the led, the main unit providing the light source - part numbers of what you used. I think the magnet idea is very cool and would make it easy to take down if needed.

Hi Terry, of course! ive put a link to starscape in the description. The light source is in the loft above the middle of the room. from there the cables hang down into the room then simply plug into the tails that connect to the panels. The magnets were great and made it very easy to install and move around! enquire at starscape as they give great advice!
