I always wanted someone to try this out in detail and tell me how it is as a scenario - thanks for this, it was incredibly awesome to watch!

Glad you enjoyed it! What I've seen of it so far is really polished. I'm definitely looking forward to playing more of it.

The part with the airlock was super funny. Getting Ero's POV on you just being launched was a good edit choice.

Just want to comment on the turret placement on that carrier - it's almost as though SE ship designers are allergic to superfiring turret configurations.

You’re totally right, but I think on a carrier like this it’s alright since it won’t always be facing the enemy(s) directly

True. Though it will still cause issues in the case that the ship does end up having to get involved. It's also got a lot of ship-to-ship weapons for a carrier when it really should specialize more in point defense.
Right now I'm actually building a missile destroyer that doesn't technically have superfiring turrets either. However, the turrets are mounted on a "half wedge" hull on one side, so they're still able to fire mostly forward if they need to (it's kinda like the Nuruodo-class from Thrawn's revenge, actually). But, like with a carrier, the turrets aren't the main weapons here, they're mainly there in case someone decides to do a tactical jump past the ship. The main armament is its heavy missile bays on the port side.
