I had that orginal fix o flex I am wearin this model right now for nostalgic reason and watch it is more comfortable to wear in this new take I am so surprised my watch is losing 5 second per month looks great have kanji option I like it so much it looks so diferent comparing with modern style
The japanese day feature is pretty common. My SRPE55K1 has it too and it's not a limited edition. But yes, it's a very cool feature. Very nice looking watch!
@ClickSpringReview That's very interesting. Probably depends on the region where they are shipped to. Where I live, the most common day features are German and Japanese.
Thanks for your timely review. According to your measurement, does this new watch has the same diameter as the one released last year: 39.5? BTW, Kanji is an English pronunciation of 漢字which means written language from the Han (漢) dynasty in the ancient China. So they are 100% Chinese.
kanji are chinese characters used in japanese writing system from 5 century ( 1500 years ) " they are 100 % chinese " who ??? japanese? the watch is made in japan you have interesting theories my friend 😂
Very nice video. Really tempted by this one.
Thank you I do try and make informative videos and its a cool watch
Am so glad i picked ths model in black such a refreshing watch
Its a really stand out model 👍🏻
@@ClickSpringReview and the dial is completely different from last year’s seiko srpk17
Did they do a silver dial also ?
@@ClickSpringReview onyl black 👍🏼
The black dial is cool but its the silver one which does it for me matey
Great review, seiko has been crushing it lately in my opinion. Can’t wait for a MAC V SOG reissue in the 37mm SNXS case!
Be interesting if they ever do again, I dare it would be an all black PVD model this time round
That looks absolutely amazing👍👍👍
I think its a stunner
Nice watch! A Fix-O-Flex stretch bracelet would certainly be better on such a watch!
I hate those bracelets as they always get full of dirt , but I know what you mean

Really as not one of the Seiko or Seiko5 models I've reviewed or own have a kenji date wheel, the UK Seiko rep said this was the first chap
@ClickSpringReview That's very interesting. Probably depends on the region where they are shipped to. Where I live, the most common day features are German and Japanese.
Where are you based out of interest ?
Doesn’t look like the usual Seiko. Super review as always. Bracelet… hmm.
Thank you my friend 😊
Picked this up during the Black Friday sales - absolutely love it and even sold the strap on eBay to get some extra money off - absolute bargain
Smart move I always say people should never pay the Full RRP on a Seiko
They've got the architecture ready and waiting for a Pogue reissue
Col did you watch my Pogue reissue review ?
@@ClickSpringReview
Except it's not a Pogue reissue.. There's more to it than a dial colour
I believe they call it a more a reinterpretation
@@ClickSpringReview
Have you reviewed the 55th Anniversary SRPK17K1 ? That's a proper reissue. An exact copy of the 1968 original.
No can't say I have Sir
Nice watch I am thinking about a new mod and was desperate for ideas now I've got a direction to take. Thanks,!
Thats fair enough its a great looking watch
Wow ... what a stunner. Now Seiko, bring back the "Gene Kranz" ... that's the Seiko 5 re-issue I want to see.
Its funny you should say that I have a customer ask my service a vintage Seiko 5, 6117-6400 just earlier which is of the same age as the Gene Kranz
I think these look cool
Its a real handsome model
This piece is the only seiko I purchase this year,,,, got it from a ad around 380..
I believe FCW well do it for about 330
Hi Barry, it certainly looks the part: how would you rate it relative to a Citizen Tsuyosa? LG Bob
Good question and hard to answer think I'd go for the Citizen but its very close, next week I have the Citizen Forza review coming
@@ClickSpringReview I think that I would too... I'm certainly looking forward to the Forza test!
I really like it matey 🤫
The bracelet is completely the wrong style. The original 5126 bracelet was completely different.
True but it looks more time period correct than there standard ones

I believe it is the same size as last years I can't see them making a new case so close to the last one, I lived in China for a year back 2005 👍🏻

It looks a little bit like modded watch in my opinion
Because of the Kanji date wheel ?
