If you didn't find the app it has either been changed or removed. But if you search universal Xbox Media remote and click the first option in the search results that app should work the same way. And even should let you switch between wifi and infra red. I hope this was helpful to you.
I believe it only works if your phone has a built in ir blaster or something like that, I forget what's called😅. But I think it wouldn't work on I phones.
If you didn't notice this app does not use wifi like the official Xbox version. It works the same as a tv remote and directly controlled ur Xbox. Just letting u know😁😉
