Great number of finds metal detecting, neat snake and headless horseman as well as the buttons etc. I never realized that vegetable's felt pain, ha ha ha. Lovely ink bottles and pipe bowl.. Love the wee "jam" pots. Thanks Willie!
Metal detecting AND bottle digging in one video! How lucky are we?!? You did a lot of hard work, Willie. The two pipes were my faves…I don’t smoke but loved the unusual black pipe and the one with the Edward & his wife embossed on it.
Hi Willie just love watching and enjoying your humor and very nice finds. As for the lack of ...... ups no worries we still got to see them keep on better boogying
I'm definitely a bottle digging fan. I just love the more domestic side of history. Bottles, jars, pipes, stoneware etc. I like to imagine the houses they were in and the people that used them plus they are easier to recognise and research lol. Great video 😁💗 x
Some nice bottles found! Ian’s a better dancer than he lets on! At least he tries, unlike my husband 😂 (don’t tell him I said that😂😂😂) love your channel as always. Thanks for taking us on many adventures this week. I enjoyed it!
Hi Kimberly - glad you enjoyed the video. I know not everyone likes snakes, but I figured it would be a bit of fun to throw that in and see if anyone said anything... they did - not just you either! Yeah, Iain is really funny. Always a fun dig when he can join me! Willie 🙂
I've always preferred Bottle Digging to Metal Detecting as it just seems more manly and cool to dig big deep holes. I also very much like that brick you dug up. It would make a really nice door stop.
I really enjoyed this weeks video and I love all the finds from metal detecting and digging. I wonder if that pipe is carved out of iron wood? It sure resembles iron wood. I love the end clips. Lol
As soon as the snake clasp came out my hubby (ex-military) said "we had those". Then this ( 5 generation ) Aussie was told all about our dangerous snakes. Gotta love an ex-pom/new Australian.
Nice finds Willie as usual but I like bottle digging more . The second half of your video was a rerun wasn't it ? I watched it because I like watching you and Ian together , you two are a hoot. Until next week Willie, see you then, Deborah
Hi Deborah, thanks. The second half hasn’t been put out yet, but I did put out the short section of it when Iain found his Codd bottle. This was the entire dig. Glad you enjoyed the video - Iain will be joining me again soon, I’m sure! See you next week. Willie 🙂
You and Ian were having some good finds with the bottle digging. Loved the green bottle you found at the beginning. Also your only fools and horses segment! Loved that show
The back of the crucifix looks like it's to hold it onto a breast pocket of a military jacket or a missionaries pocket or book cover great change Willie really enjoyed it cheers Alex xx
Certainly is Iain. You do find a heck of a lot of scrap, but I don't mind that, as you're clearing the trash from the landscape. And every so often you are rewarded with a special find! Willie 🙂
Thanks - glad you enjoyed it. I went for the iPhone 13 Pro Max. I had been using an iPhone 8 all this time, but it wasn't really up to the job any more. Blown away by how much the iPhone has improved from the 8 to the 13! Willie 🙂
OMG! I wonder is there anyone ever used word combination Belter and Snap together. 🤣There is a new terminology evolving there in the dump. " Belter snap" 🙃

Both metal detecting and bottle digging were great! Thank you all for sharing! And loved both of you dancing!
Hi I’m a si finds follower & saw your channel for the first time on his visit with you. Loving your content 👍🏻
Hi Willie just love watching and enjoying your humor and very nice finds. As for the lack of ...... ups no worries we still got to see them keep on better boogying
Love the snake buckle, such a cool design and the wee tap key.
Love the drone shots
Great video both the detecting and the dig too with some awesome finds. Take care and thank you for sharing 🙏👍❤️

I really like bottle digging, however a bit of metal was okay. You make the whole video fun to watch. Lovely scenery too!
Brilliant video again Willie!!
Thanks Leanne - glad you could make it! Willie 🙂
Yaaaaay! Dirty secrets is on!!!! Love that retractable toothbrush! 😂❤ I’m sure I’ll add to this! Nice finds so far though!!!!
Some nice bottles found! Ian’s a better dancer than he lets on! At least he tries, unlike my husband 😂 (don’t tell him I said that😂😂😂) love your channel as always. Thanks for taking us on many adventures this week. I enjoyed it!
Great finds, but.... not everyone likes a snake😏😏 Love the bit about the codd bottle puzzle kit🤣🤣🤣
Hi Kimberly - glad you enjoyed the video. I know not everyone likes snakes, but I figured it would be a bit of fun to throw that in and see if anyone said anything... they did - not just you either!

Thanks Kristin - glad you enjoyed it! Willie 🙂
Loving the longer videos!
Lots of, MMMMmmmm's in this video....made me smile. also , lots of "don't know what it is"....had fun today.

Thanks Colleen - glad you enjoyed another episode! Willie 🙂
Green Hill OMOA, Greenville Colliery, Shotts, Lanarkshire
Thanks Carter! Willie 🙂
Could that fragment be part of a shovel?
You make my Sundays so much brighter. Thanks Sugar.
I've always preferred Bottle Digging to Metal Detecting as it just seems more manly and cool to dig big deep holes. I also very much like that brick you dug up. It would make a really nice door stop.
Thanks John - glad you enjoyed it! Willie 🙂
I think the musical instrument part may be the mouthpiece of a bugle or a trumpet. Nice finds..
Yes! It looks like a mouthpiece for a brass instrument…maybe for a French Horn?
Thanks Denease. I think you're right! Willie 🙂
Nice double header! I like metal detecting and bottle digging equally.
Thanks Willie, interesting mix this week. Loved the half time roundup!! Favourites, the delicate silver pin(how did it survive)and little keg tap.
Great combined video.
I haven't seen anyone find a Davis vegetable painkiller bottle.🇨🇦
Hi Willie some different finds today ❤hope you are well looking forward to watching your next video
Hi wil i used to have one of them snake belts for school when i was a nipper lol
Hahahaha..have a few laughs, watching the bottle digging..as we say here in Australia....cheers mate.
Lunchtime *** up made me spit my tea laughing! 😂
I think your mystery item that you've labeled a pot fragment might actually be part of an old spade. Specifically a turving or trenching spade.
Could be - but this was made of bronze - wouldn't that be too soft for digging tools? Willie 🙂
@@dirtysecretsofscotland Oops I forgot you said it was bronze. Nix that idea then!
To me it looked like the bit the handle goes through to hang a pot over a fire?
Another fun video, great bottles . I think the crucifix is part of a metal basket that could have been used for storage or for fires for warmth.
Thanks Phyllis! That's a very good suggestion. You might be completely correct here! Willie 🙂
The only way to describe Iain's dancing, - madness on speed!
I really enjoyed this weeks video and I love all the finds from metal detecting and digging. I wonder if that pipe is carved out of iron wood? It sure resembles iron wood. I love the end clips. Lol
Love your videos.maybe Sarah could paint on those slick coins.
Thanks Kim. That's a great suggestion! Glad you're enjoying the videos. Willie 🙂
Some nice little bottles there willie, looks a good age tip.
Thanks - was a fun dig and the tip is the right age, as you say. Willie 🙂
Wow that camera means business.
What does the orange Etsy logo mean that appears with the cleaned up bottles?
Great finds Willie. I like the snake clasp and the weights. 😊
Hi Penny - thanks. I love both these finds too. Willie 🙂
As soon as the snake clasp came out my hubby (ex-military) said "we had those". Then this ( 5 generation ) Aussie was told all about our dangerous snakes. Gotta love an ex-pom/new Australian.
Interesting mix in this video. I need to get out more myself 😂
Thanks Richard - I like to mix it up a bit. Hope you do get out again soon. Willie 🙂
The Sierra Madre is not a ship. It's a foothill range in Los Angeles County, California.
Oh really? Don’t know why I thought it was a sunken treasure ship..! Haha! Shows how much I paid attention at school! 😂
Nice finds Willie as usual but I like bottle digging more . The second half of your video was a rerun wasn't it ? I watched it because I like watching you and Ian together , you two are a hoot. Until next week Willie, see you then, Deborah

Willie, I think either Gail and Alex or Kate and Fleur for a silver monogram looking pin like you . Maybe they know
Hi Laura. Thanks - I'll ask them and see if they know! Great suggestion. Willie 🙂
I’d like to know the history about the area of your digging and metal detecting. Possibly a dump or a battlefield perhaps. Is there anyway of knowing?
The back of the crucifix looks like it's to hold it onto a breast pocket of a military jacket or a missionaries pocket or book cover great change Willie really enjoyed it cheers Alex xx
Thanks Alexandrea - that's a great suggestion! Glad you enjoyed it! Willie 🙂
I fancy a bit of metal detecting looks like fun, great finds fab adventure 👍
Certainly is Iain. You do find a heck of a lot of scrap, but I don't mind that, as you're clearing the trash from the landscape. And every so often you are rewarded with a special find! Willie 🙂
Hope you enjoyed your day out
nice video Willy.. what kinda phone you using I looks awsome quality.
Thanks - glad you enjoyed it. I went for the iPhone 13 Pro Max. I had been using an iPhone 8 all this time, but it wasn't really up to the job any more. Blown away by how much the iPhone has improved from the 8 to the 13! Willie 🙂
@@dirtysecretsofscotland really great picture.. and that zoom wow .... good job x
Jack wants his ball back.
Nice wee sauce
OMG! I wonder is there anyone ever used word combination Belter and Snap together. 🤣There is a new terminology evolving there in the dump. " Belter snap" 🙃
What do you do with what you find?
Well wil i didn't know vegetables got headaches lol id love to know where you used to stick the tablets lol
ithink that was a part of a roman oil lamp
Oh cool - could be right - I've had Roman brooches from fields nearby. 🙂
Ya no se ponga tierra en la mejilla, ya se le ve irritada, interesantes hallazgos
Gracias - Veo lo que quieres decir. ¡Probablemente dejaré eso ahora! Willie 🙂
That was fun
Thanks Dawn - I had fun filming it too! Glad you could join me! Willie 🙂
