You'll want to make an extended stop bar for the top of the cowling where those bars hit or one day you're going to open the hood and it's going to break that cowling. Another nice job, though! Both the product and the video!👍
Thanks man! Yah, I've thought of that a few times, especially when it's windy and i'm fueling up. I might take a thin piece of stainless braided wire and make a limiting strap of sorts.

Hey my hood hinge on my Yard-Man riding mower has been broken like all I have is one hinge not two. Do you have any ideas on where I can find a new hood hinge setup if not I'll have to do something like you did then.

@CraigyWaigyplays_official yah, I didn't even bother to look back then, I just went straight to building it. You might be able to find something used on marketplace, but this didn't take all that long to build either and even after all this time it still works great with no issues
That looks like it just rolled out of the factory. We must be related. That deal about making the part diy for more than 17 bucks had me rolling. Pass those skills to the grandbaby!
