Been running these tires on my 1998 xj for the past two years. They’re super awesome all around every day tires. I can’t speak for how the performance is in mud, but I’ve had them on snow and slushy PA winter roads and they’re absolutely a really good tire. I really think you’ll get a lot of enjoyable miles out of them
That grey Chevy was nice. Yeah I just sold my '21 Limited EcoDiesel last week for a '22 Defender 90 S. Love it so much. Funny how we both got rid of the Ram's.
You need to check your facts. The Cooper Discoverer AT34S is not made in an LT (Light Truck) classification is any size. You can check the Cooper website on that. Its clearly not listed in an LT version specification. I think your confusing light truck with Light Truck tire designation which is a class of tire manufactured with added ply to improve load and puncture resistance. You need to move up to the Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT and XLT versions to get an LT class tire.
Had some Cooper Discover AT's popping on me. I love the handling but the quality is questionable. Owned 3 times a full set, and off those 12 tires i had 3 off them getting a bubble in the Sidewall, and two Others suddenly blowing on the Freeway after just a few months. So once they wear out its going to be something totally different in Brand. I don't trust them anymore... But the Handling is great!
Both my wifes grand cherokee and my cousin who has the same exact jeep as my wife and we got the cooper discover AT/3 same size same jeep same year and it was the older tread version not the one you have , and they were the worst tires i ever owned both my wifes and my cousins cupped like you wouldnt believe ..had alignment done when they were bought both jeeps have TPS, so air pressure was kept perfect.. they were horrible ,and the customer service is even worst and tread warrantee pfft forget it … my wife had 22,000 miles tires had 60,000 miles warrantee ,my mechanic even called them and told them my wifes jeep was in perfect mechanical condition they didnt care.. you know how they got out of it ,, because i went back to the goodyear Adventurer wrangler tire with kevlar sidewalls like i have on my jeep (which wear perfectly ) and i bought them at goodyear dealer and cooper said because i didnt buy them from the place i bought the coopers they couldnt do warrantee,, i was like he doesn’t deal in goodyear tires and why would i put the crap coopers back on ? So anyway heads up if you have a problem with your coopers make sure you get your next set of tires from the place you got the cooper tires or they wont do anything to help you ,, and all they were gonna do is give a hundred bucks off next set of tires ,, cooper is worthless in business and products.. just a heads up buddy… they did same with my cousin ,, so it wasnt just me..

XL p rated tires don’t have a thicker sidewall, they can just carry a little more load.

My jeep is 225. It won't make a difference if I get them 235. It won't rub against the walls?

What is teally odd about your experience. Earlier in the year Cooper and Goodyear merged. They are the last American tire company.
