    I’m new to Mac - was not aware that making a transparent png was that easy, so thank you!

    Incredible! I love the L3 graphic trick. But, even more importantly to me, I’ve been using Macs for more than a decade and had no idea Preview could convert images to transparent PNGs like that. THANK YOU!

    It's certainly an amazingly powerful tool and it's even better now that they've added selection detection. I wonder how much of this has been in there for the long term but hidden. It's my go to for quick graphic stuff but some of this I didn't know. I've had a few occasions where graphics weren't 1920x1080 I said to them countless times but didn't realize at the time it went through like four different people before it got to me and I would find this out day off of course. Preview has a scale function and it works really well.

    You make it straight forward, simple, and include useful tips. Too many of the videos on livestream tutorials take some uber geeky windows 95 or ms DOS looking programming route (There are certain use cases where those work too, but you get my point). These are simple solutions you can make happen quick. Thanks. I hit the sub on this channel. If you are reading this, you should too. This guy is great at teaching...

    Great video covering many aspects of keying. I previously used paint in Windows in a similar way but recently use the mac.

    Good content here, Starting my Live production business. and Been following a couple of TH-camrs, and am amazed by your content. I actually though its A2Z production till I checked the channel to see its not. You somehow sound like Brian as well. Subscribed already. Whats switcher do you use.?

      It look like he is using Atem Mini Extreme ISO.

      Glad you like the channel, I am sure if you double check you will find plenty of similarities to my old videos at A2Z lol. Anyway I use mostly Black Magic Switchers. This one was recorded on an atem Mini Extreme ISO but I also used the constellation series as well as pretty much all their older models at one time or another. Thanks!

    Does windows have a comparable built in editing option like this?

    I am a fan of your videos... please how do you customize the edge color of the boxes in the transition pack ?

    • @liveproductionmastery
      @liveproductionmastery  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For color on the border of the super source boxes, you can go to super source in the atem software, then click on the Art Tap within the super source, then scroll down to Border and you can adjust the color and it will stick even as you go through different transitions from the macro pack. If you are on an atem mini extreme or extreme ISO, it does not support borders in the supper source. just the constellation series as well as some other atem super source models but the atem mini extreme does not. Hope that helps, thanks!

    Why not just use Keynote? You don't even have to save, export or even leave the edit window. Compose a slide with a key-able background, and then at least in OBS you can create a window source, point it at Keynote key out the background then crop the slide to the lower 3rd. Not sure how you'd bring live Keynote edit slide window into an ATEM but should be doable.

    Is the window transition you have created using macros?

      Yes!

      @@liveproductionmastery amazing! question: can they code be altered for a different switcher? the atem tells me theres issue with the variation in software.

    • @liveproductionmastery
      @liveproductionmastery  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@josephcarlson2947 Yes it can be altered but the message you are getting is just a warning saying the code was built on a different version of software so there MIGHT be some features that don't work correctly, however after extensive testing, everything works fine! Its just a warning message because at the top of the macro pack, it lists the software version it was built on. you can change that number at the top of the xml file and the warning message goes away. If you leave it, everything still works great as well.

    I'm gonna be honest, it kinda feels like this entire video was just "wow, you can remove backgrounds from images" wholly unimpressed. also it's not just mac, photoshop can do the same thing, there are websites to remove backgrounds, basically any image editing software will likely be able to do it

      The default photo app of windows, power point, new ms paint also have the same feature.
