This was really helpful. We had the owners manual stuffed in the back pocket-there was no way it was coming out without removing the condone. I ended up cutting through the bottom to pull out the huge manual. I’m feeling pretty accomplished.
Thank you, I'm sure you put as much if not more time in the search of a video (story of my life) but your video was the 1st I tried and "you lead with you couldn't find any" completing my search need saving me lots of time and video was just the info I needed.. 😀
We have mice in the center console of my 2004 pilot. I just found a nest in the back vents. What provoked me to look was a nasty smell, otherwise I never would have guessed to look there! Once I pulled out the vents, cleaned out the fuzz and smelled it I knew there was dead mice in my car. So unsettling! I couldn't find a video on how to disassemble the console but I'm SO grateful you posted this video because its exactly what I need in terms of directions on how to get to the blower motor etc.. THANK YOU!
I'm not looking forward to doing this but I need to....to unstick what ever is causing sliding door to not open up all the way and to check rear blower not working. Thank you for making the video!
Thank you so much I want to take out my center console but I'm in sure on the process and you helped me see so much more then what I thought I needed to see!
I have a 2006 Honda Pilot trying to get console out and it looks like you took out the radio first . I Did every thing you said and the radio and navigation system is not allowing me to get it out
KJ there are going to be trim pieces next to the black pieces. You just have to pull the trim pieces off and there will be be 2 philips screws, 1 on top and 1 on bottom
There are some wire harnesses that need to be detached. I also had to remove the side pieces for the entertainment system. The front of the console is open. If you put something on the lid and it slid forward, it could be under the console. I had to fish under the plastic vent and other wires with a coat hanger to find my item.
I see you have an updated sterio, do you also have an amp or does the screen have a built in amp? Trying to do the same and don't want to loose the Sub. Can you make a video on it? I didn't see one on your page. Thank you for this video!
Hey bro thanks for the info found out that my rear ac cooling coil is leaking Freon and it is located in the center console looks like a big fat pain in the neck but I think I can do it myself to save 700 bucks for pro install/ replacement so thanks again
Im trying to figure out how to replace the harness wires to the cigarette lighter because the cigarette lighter got so loose it fell off and took the plastic harness plug part with it so now im trying too see if i can replace the whole harness or put the 3 little wires from the harness back into the plastic plug which i dont know which wire goes to what because i had to immediately separate them since they shorted eachother after the whole cigarette lighter fell off
Great video thanks did you happen to notice where the YAW SENSOR rate located and if it was necessary to take the whole console out or can I get to it by just removing the back vent panel I would sure appreciate some advice thanks
The whole center console must come out and driver seat must come out of vehicle and passenger to get to bolts disconnect battery first then unplug your airbag plugs underneath the seat it’s not hard just need a little patience
There are going to be trim pieces on each side that u pull off. Behind those trim pieces are going to be Phillips screws. Once you take the screws out you can take the stuff under the radio out

The only thing that would not be allowing you is if u didn’t disconnect all the harnesses that are attached to back of them

There should only be 2 wires. A power and a ground
Very helpful I'm working on my girlfriends 2003 honda pilot same thing if anyone is doing this.

Just asked the same question

@@pedrorosario1831 So the YAW rate sensor was under the console on a 2006 pilot ? We had this issue for over a year ..
Did you remove the blower motor?
No I didn’t
Did you see a sensor called YAW Rate sensor under the console ?
Honestly I didn’t even think of looking for it at the time
Can you show or explain how you got the beginning out. Below the radio

60 seconds in I was disoriented as hell!
