When I started shooting smallbore rifle 30 years ago, there was a teammate of mine with a tuner on his Anschutz (I think it was a model 1907 if my memory is correct), so this tuner stuff is nothing new. It's impressive how well they work... but it's not new. 😁
I would really like to see a video of how you went about adjusting your tuner settings and at what distance. Just got my new Vudoo from DI Precision with the EC Tuner and would like to start some testing and I trust your opinion and knowledge. Or if you could point me in the right direction it would be great. Thank you.
I’ve done some other tuner videos, but it’s on center fire and only a little bit of video with rimfire but in the next couple weeks, I’ll throw together a rimfire tuning video.
If you have a good rifle, good technique, and have found a good batch of ammunition, they really do put the cherry on the top of the cake! @@FClassJohn Yes, I figured that. What I was asking is how did it shoot before modifying the barrel and installing the tuner? Or did you never shoot this barrel before?
@@rustynut1967 oh, yeah sorry I misunderstood. I shot the same ammo through the barrel before and it honestly was just a little better but not much. I’ve had tuners on every rimfire I’ve owned and it’s always helped me dial in ammo since I don’t really have the ability to lot test.
@@allenclayton7 yeah but that’s not the point. The point is that before I never had a way to improve the groups. By adding weight the groups changed initially but then the tuner allows me to dial in whatever lot of ammo I get.
