My own father had so much fear of being not enough, of not being able to be the said "provider" that it stressed him over 15 years. As a grown man and caring friend I advise every man to not stress themselves too much, so they are actually making it worse. Time spent in peace ends in much more endurance and patience than time spent in stress and fear.
    Stay healthy, fellas.

Every now and then youtube keeps recommending me these Breaking Bad clips. It's probably because every now and then I click and watch on them, right. But I keep on being both surprised and impressed by just how well thought out all the writing and storytelling was. Much more so than I realized when watching it as it was airing obviously. But also just how well you can connect all these dots them seem so blatantly obvious now in hindsight, but you didn't really think too much about at the time.

It should be clear that this was not an act. Not to mention that he tried to provide to the very end. Why would he do that if it was all an act?
I think the reason why Walt jr is mad is that he believes Walt has killed his uncle and that he believes the last phone call would have been real. He probably will find out that both assumptions are wrong. The police investigation will show that Walt actually sacrificed his life to kill the people who killed Hank and Skyler would probably tell him the truth about the phone call after the process is over and if she thinks he can handle it.

It alternates between Jimmy McGill's (Saul Goodman's) story, Mike, and a guy working for Tuco called Nacho. Episodes vary in how many of those story lines are picked up, and whether they progress in parallel or meet one another. There also is some retrospection, some fan service, and a ton of funny montages. Funny in a rather subtle way, if you're into that.

Your comment simply means that you did not quite get what Walt's point of view, Walter wants to be the king, that was explained when he said"I'm the one who knocks" & "say my name" & "I'm in the empire business", he worked Jesse when he poisened Brock to make Gus visit him, and when he failed he trapped him with Hector, he planned to do so before Jesse realised that the men who likes how friend where Gustavo's. The moral story behind this part is that fear made a man nothing through a total of 50 years, but when he felt death drawing near, he didn't have something to lose and that's why he take all these decisions, specially writing on the wall HIESENBURG in the last episode, the thing that will last after how death is his name.

Gus is just as good at manipulation as Walt. He immediately identified what Walt wanted to do, what he wanted to prove to himself - that he could provide for his family, that he needed no one’s help - and exploited that. And he identified these vulnerabilities pretty damn quickly too.

The look on cranston's face doesn't just convey being impressed by the infrastructure at the facility. It's almost kid in a candy shop wonder. The incredibly talented academic finally getting the lab that he knew he always deserved. It's that kind of attention to detail that makes the acting in this show so good.

Gus is so manipulative. He knows how to inflate Walt's ego and how to break him down. Also, Gus is talking about himself here. "A man provides... and he does it even when he is not appreciated, or respected, or even loved." We later find out that his family doesn't appreciate him. In fact, we never really see his family. He's an empty shell of a man, more of a corporation than a human being, and that is exactly what Walt ends up being in his own way. It's just sad to see the decline.

For some reason, I feel like that quote, is applicable irl. Men give their family what they want all the time, women also. But it's usually the man who does the work, men are seen as people who work for their family, if you see a broken pipe or what not you'll immediately go to a man, like your brother or cousin or husband. But if it's other matters it would be women whom you go to. Like fashion, social stuff, etc. My opinion anyways.

The few that striked me season 1 and 2 The picture of the sailor waving goodbye to his family with the dog that Walt looks at in the hospital and all throughout the season including the room with the nazis. I never realized how much the sailer in the rowboat waving goodbye Resembled Walt sailing further and further away from his family, also in season 2 the museum where Walt meets up with Skinny Pete badger and combo and when Jesse meets up with them there was pictures on the walls of smoke explosions and airplanes, all signs of What’s to come with Janes father with the airplane Crash.
