Red flags i ignored:
Vagueness
Defensiveness
Shift from love bombing to coldness, longer to answer messages, less affectionate.

Is respecting someone outside of the marriage or feeling respected by someone other than a spouse cheating? What happened to respecting everyone? I ask guys I hire to work at my home all the time "what can I do more of or differently so you feel more respected when working with me?" In my mind that includes the vow they made to their wife. Am I crossing a line simply by asking that question? Or do I need to be explicit about the view to their wife when asking that question?
The first sign „rebel“ should rather be labeled “selfish a**hole”…

4. Emotional withdrawal.
5. He doesn't feel safe enough to express his supressed desires.
6. He doesn't feel respected.
7. He's in a sexless marriage.
My bf of 7 yrs was up to something as it felt off with him. When I brought it up he would say everything was fine and he was happy. And he said he wasn't wasting my time. Well. Liar liar pants on fire.
When I questioned again, as in something is up and I'm not sure what it is but it's not good and I don't know what it is or what to do. But I'm not living this way. I need you and time with you. I want you. I love you. I'm giving you two weeks to think about things and then we'll talk. Well he came back with I don't have time for a girlfriend right now. Wtf? Anyway long story short he had been on a dating site for at least 3 of the last 7 yrs we were together. And had met at least 2 women.
He's not a rebel. He's not a classic narcissist, and he's non confrontational. , so we never fought. He was closing off emotionally. He expressed his desires and was not in a sexless marriage. He was one saying no. And I told him all the time how proud I was him Yada Yada and always showing appreciation. Quite simply, I learned he's a whore and cheated on every woman he had relationship with .
Showed himself out. Fantastic.

@celesteredding1550 thank you for your kind words. It was a hard pill to swallow at my age. (We both are in our 60's!) I'm on high alert now. Trying to date but it's soo hard when you've been hurt soo bad and scared to trust again.

@DivestedConfessions my terminology may not be to your understanding. We lived together for more than half of that time. And no we weren't engaged, so what else should I call him? It was a not a red flag to not have a ring. A ring doesn't make you committed to each other. It's only a token of the commitment.

Thank you for this video. Every sign you mentioned is very accurate indeed. In my experience, I know that I will end a relationship with a man when my energy level around him is low. I feel exhausted because of repeated arguments/fights. Another signal : when I keep asking myself "Is this love ?" or "What is love ?" because I do not feel loved or respected.
Lack of "right" communication is, I think, the reason most of the relationship fails.
All those signs are true he is gonna cheat. My ex did all the stuff you talked about. He told me a good year before I caught him that he was unhappy. But the reason I ignored it and didn't care was because I wasn't happy with him either. It was a comfortable relationship to me and think was for him too. We would just do our own thing and hardly talk. And guess what, he ended up cheating and I ended it. Was a godsend otherwise we just would of carried on wasting our times in a lacklustre comfortable relationship that felt more like a friendship towards the end.

Mine was a full narcissist
They are concerned about weight or lose weight, buy new clothes, work late, give you just a bit of true about a female they met, know, work with,...to lessen their guilt or it's an emotional high for them on another level of passive aggressiveness. There is more to the story to come.
