Being a Death Metal/Black Metal Band Dani and the guys are so respectful to fans it's awesome! That bow at the end is super cool. It's like thanks for having us.

After college and learning from many of my friends who took considerable amounts of voice lessons and hearing my favorite bands getting older I learned that screaming vocals aren't necessarily something that can be sustained for long periods of time, at least doing certain types of vocals(more strenuous techniques being obvious examples), easiest examples: Danny Filth, Corey Taylor, and even myself when I did vocals for about a 2 years. even though I felt no pain at the time and took great efforts not to harm myself I've still lost clarity and range in my natural speaking and clean singing voice.
Take care of yourselves friends; know what you're doing, and don't push yourselves past a point where your throat can no longer take it. Be safe. Also, smoking doesn't help things lol not judging at all, just a final side note.

Very true words, friend. I hope people learn from the past mistakes of metal and hardcore vocalists. A lot of great bands had horrible live shows due to the vocalist always being way off
And I can say from experience as well that an improper technique will ruin everything quickly. In highschool I had a Metalcore band, and we ended due to vocal damage on my part. I didn't want to end up like vocalists I saw watching videos like these, so I quit and worked on my technique

Dani here is a shell of himself. He doesn't want to damage his voice, so he resorts to goblin talking. Which apparently is very easy for him as he speaks that way live
When he does the trademark screams, he's struggling to tighten his throat painfully and whistle out those poor whimpers. It's clear that at this point in his career he hadn't figured out how to do the high screams painlessly, and so he used them sparingly instead of constant

Lindsay Schoolcraft has also been phenomenal as she is talented as well as very kind to fans! But Nymphetamine was first album of CoF I was so young just waiting for it! I began listening to Nymphetamine all the time and like a gate way drug Dimmu and Cradle got myself exploring other metal forms throughout so to all previous members and present Thank you for all! \m/

Yeah, unfortunately Caroline Caz only was with CoF for a short period of time (late 2010 till late 2012). She left and persuaded other things.

This sounded really good especially for a show with little production value. Singing was great so were the screeches.

I wonder since the Daily Habit is okay with this band/song and it’s meaning, if they would allow the reciprocation for a worship band on to sing for Jesus. Food for thought.

    • @uncrownedoak7777
      @uncrownedoak7777 2 ปีที่แล้ว

I don't know any worship bands that are as big as these guys (that can match the intensity) ...who would you want to see live on this show? Now that I think of it, I heard Skillet started out as worship/Christian, love em or hate em, they got pretty big.

Well different bands attract different crowds. Cradle of filth may be big and popular to satanists, but there are other bands, like skillet that you’ve mentioned who attract Christian’s like myself.
A band I’d like to see (if they were still continuing):
“For Today.” Check them out 👍

@@matthew1306 (I'm not arguing nor hating here.) I'm wondering why Christians or similar religious folk can't listen to satanic music? I feel as though music is a healthy way to face our demons (metaphorically). I genuinely enjoy Ghost, Dark Funeral, Lamb of God, and various other satanic themed bands, I'm just not sure the harm that is done, if any at all through darker music.

Yeah I get you, not vibing any hate or argument, it’s cool 👍
Well anybody can listen to whatever they want, but because you said “Christian’s” although as I just said, that anybody is free to listen to anything they want, for people that choose to trust and follow Jesus, it’s important to then be wise about what you feed on. I know from a very early point on my faith I was still listening to a particular band that were heavy on the satanic lyrics… and I found that it had a certain influence on me that wasn’t exactly “Godly.” I thought different, spoke different, even had the occasional nightmare here and there. But all in all, we ought to be people that chase and pursue what is good, holy and acceptable in the eyes of God. And to be frankly honest, Satan doesn’t deserve any credit at all, least of all to be sung about. If people knew what he was truly about, and how he (the devil) despises humanity, they’d seriously do a “musical u-turn” so to speak. He’s not on your side, and he’s not for you.
      Just my thoughts 👍
