I use those scrub pads for cleaning gasket material off of oil pans and timing covers. It’s gentle enough to not misshape the surface but still clean off the bonding material.
Just saw the entire line of new HT tools today @ walmart, really glad you're testing them out. They are not comparable to the likes of my other tools. However, it's nice to get these cheaply priced items and leave them in car, and not worry about them. Man, looking forwards to the 12v impact compo...
Ive been pretty happy with my hyper tough tools, one thing I wish they would change is allow you to buy the tool by itself, I really dont need another 1.5ah battery or really bad charger!
I am a pretty diehard rigid fan, but when I seen this little angle grinder, I thought I got to get it I have a whole box of the 3M cleaning pads that I use on my air tools that I now don’t have a compressor big enough to run so for the past week I have been cleaning any steel I can get my hands on this little thing just don’t quit
Mr scrubby is a bristle disk. It is an abrasive attachment used in place of a non woven pad (the one that looks like a scotch brite pad) when less material needs to be removed and when a more uniform look is desired. They come in a various of grit sizes. In a kit like this, I would remove rust from the axe head with in this order: sand paper, non woven disc, bristle disk, wire wheel (starting order from coarse to fine finishes).
I hope I get as good of a memorial as Mr. Scrubby... I'm seeing this at the same time as the '24 Sema content is dropping so I'm torn between getting one of these, holding out for the Hercules version I saw in one of the Sema videos or buying a Ryobi and adapting it to work with Hercules batteries. This is definitely food for thought though, thanks for the video!
Mr. Scrubby seems like it would be perfect for removing old degraded foam from my car's headliner which is probably what I'm going to end up buying this tool to do.
RIP Scrubby. Lol I enjoyed the video man. I'm glad that you liked the die grinder. I can't wait to see your thoughts on the new 3/8 impact and see if it's bettter or worse than the old one.
I have been pretty impressed with the 12v tools I have from hyper tough. For what I payed for them on clearance they have already earned their money worth just from the dumb little builds I do often. I have dewalt impacts and drills and yet I still pick up those 12v over them just to do piddle 💩
I may have to pick one up i have been thinking about getting into that line like for that and and they have that offset drill thing if i didn't already have a ratchet id definitely get that but i also may get their impact the 3/8 or whatever it is
Yes, but the way tool batteries are constructed, they often times output more power if they are higher capacity. I think that has to do with how the cells are arranged and what cells are used.
Dude, we get a battery and a charger with each tool purchase, it’s hard to complain about the charger not being great. A bare tool could be less expensive but you know that it wouldn’t be. It would just be more cash in Walmarts pocket.
It’s not just not great. It’s ultra bad. After you have seven of them piled up in the shop you start to feel like it’s a waste. But…. you’re right- for the price how can you complain?

Good point. Thanjs

I am going to be testing the new 3/8 impact wrench very soon.

Amen
Love your testing of the hyper tough line! I’d like to see a comparison test between Gen 1 and Gen 2 rotary tool.

I like it too. They say Hercules is coming out with a 12 v 90 degree die grinder as well.
Thanks for reviewing the Hyper Tough tools. I kinda like the die grinder. Sure would save firing up the air compressor
It would be convenient for small jobs.

Thanks for the tips.
I like your video's and humor.
Thank you, appreciated

Thanks for checking out my video. I’ll have to watch one of those SEMA videos to see what’s coming out. I didn’t know about the Hercules.
Great review! Definitely on the wishlist

I ordered the impact and should be picking it up very soon.
I got the new one and i love it, to me the new one is better.. ;)
check out the laser level
I saw that in the store! Kind of surprised they made one. Will do.

Sounds about right. Heck, I picked up angle grinder kits last few days just to get the 4 AH batteries.
😂put mr scrubby on a stick and scratch your back

I just got a hex for my drill driver for my attachments.
I used my drill for wire wheels and buffing wheels before. It works.
👍👍👍
Mr Scrubby is for cleaning gasket surfaces.
He was.
RIP
Amp hours are a measure of storage capacity , not rate of delivery . At the given voltage the motor will only draw a certain current at locked rotor .

Can you please compare the old 20v brushed circular saw with the new brushless version?
I might be able to do that
What is the difference between the new impact wrench and the old one?
I know the new one has multiple modes. Not sure if there is a real power difference.
Mr scrubby it to remove decals on car boats and other stuff
Very cool, thanks for watching.
Not saying the new stubby is worse but the old impact was advertised as 280 breakaway while the new one is 225
Interesting. I have found that company claims are not always accurate. Testing really brings out the fibbers.

@@zacksintheshop totally agree, (also i love the videos you produce).
RIPPPP MR SCRUBBY!!!😢😢😢😢
I'm guessing milwaukee m12 batteries work with this tool?
No sir, unfortunately
@@zacksintheshop Damn, that's a shame. Thanks for getting back to me 👍
They got a 30 dollar 1/4 electric rachet. To.
I saw that. I will test that soon. I think I should compare it with the Ryobi USB ratchet.
