Excellent explanation and demonstration of two useful tools used for wood carving. I use both of them: the die grinder for heavy work and the foredom for lighter work. Congrats and greetings from Colombia.
A little confused. First it sounded like you said the TX model has a 1/4 collet but then you said it has a 1/8 & 3/32. So does that model let you use 3 different sized collets?
@@nightcarverdesignsyes do you know if there is anything for the foredom rotary tools thats like the Dremel Work Station that would hold the hand piece & turn it into a miniature drill press?
@@nightcarverdesigns I thought so, thinking about getting a Foredom, and believe the reviews/education on features/use makes the buying process much easier. Have you ever heard of Mike Stinnett...his wood carving/painting skills, and attention to detail, are so very impressive, in everything he has created in wood carving/painting.
@@jimmieusaf-pol5818 I have not heard of his work, but I’ll have to check him out. I’m so glad that you found this video helpful. I know I was very confused when ordering my for him so having a video like this to me is extremely needed.
Thanks Foredom for supporting this review!! I’m planning to buy one and this video helped!
@@christianjohnson3205 you are so welcome. I hope you enjoy it when you get it!

@@AlfonsoPuello-o4l thank you so much!! Both are great tools, it’s all about preferences.
Totally digging the Beetlejuice sculpture in the background! Thanks for all the info 😁
Thank you so much!!!!!
thanks for the video, can you show a video lubing the shaft and all places that need lubing for longer lasting?.
Great suggestion! Next time I do the process I will 100% film it for a video.
Love my foredom. I use my H.50 handpiece a lot with chisel and gouges.
That’s awesome. How did I do comparing it to the die grinders? I tried to be as fair as possible with the tools.
@@nightcarverdesigns You did a great job. Spot on.

Correct, you can change to any of the three sizes for the 44T. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

@@Omnivorous1One yes, they have a drill press attachment. Look on their website.
This is a Foredom commercial.
