You guys have been a great resource. Been fighting with horrible echo in the Sanitary, finally solved it with an direct audio from the sound board with a light mix of the room from a boom mic. Third (since first and second have been used :D) You guys are doing an amazing job. Great information and production, but most importantly great spirit! You guys are a joy to listen to and learn from. You are doing great making very complex stuff more palatable to your audience. It is so easy to get lost in the technical, and you guys keep it clear and concise. As a photographer/photoshop guy getting tasked to become the video/sound guy it has been an interesting journey and the number one hurdle/learning curve has been the audio. I wish I had discovered you guys before last week. Keep up the great work! And when this quarantine is over, I want to buy you guys a beer or err... I mean root beer. :D
Some good info on this! I have been struggling to get the best audio for our worship singers when doing recordings for live streams. Do you recommend the best budget setup to be a shotgun mic?
Great video. Please help, what's a simple $1000 system (not including computer) for recording live to Facebook? 1 mic for pastor, other for congregation. System will be in a separate room from the service, (not that far, will run wires or wireless). So need help with camera, mic, audio interface etc... Currently, we use an iPhone XR, with moment lens and rode wireless go and stream mobile. We want to get rid of that and have a more permanent solution via a laptop and Facebook live. Thank you
Thank you for your video, I'm having a hard time streaming acoustic piano. I have a pretty good condenser mic running through a mixer and the audio for the vocals is wonderful but the piano sounds like it's underwater any help would be appreciated. I'm thinking it might be less of a Mikey problem and more of a streaming problem but I do not know for sure
Need a bit of help in setting up my sound board to messenger since we're currently locked down through this pandemic. Working for the first time via internet to record keyboards and instruments via internet with my partner sometime next month in September God Willing........
Am I the only one being driven mental by the fact that there's this wierd "dynamite" thing stuck in his SM7B? (I figgure it's a fixed preamp because the sm7b neeeds a Ton of gain.)
You're exactly right - it's just a clean gain booster to get a decent signal without noise. It also says "Dynamite" because I was looking through options and thought it was dope, haha. - Caleb
ICDC Bella Vista Cana Unless you’re in Denmark, that’s not a big issue. Streaming on TH-cam and it will detect what songs you play so the music authors can get some money for it. Don’t enable monetization (you need 1000 subscribers anyway)

with 12g ram, you should have no issues, could even use more cameras with that processing power
