what is the point of this game tho like is it just because guitarists made fun of guitar hero? I can't imagine actually learning a song this way

I remember this was one of my favourite songs to play on Guitar Hero: World Tour, Frances the Mute is such a good album, man...
I'm just now finding out they cut out half the song in Guitar Hero. The full thing sounds great.
Even this Rocksmith tab cut out some of the song. Guitar Hero cut off like 3/4s of the song. This Rocksmith version cuts off like 1/4th of the song. The full song is near 13 minutes long.
