Awesome reaction as always. The drunken sailor is Matt "Bucky" Buckner. He was a member was as away back when they were4:2:Five for a short time. Now he's a Gamer, Voice Actor and works at Disney World. He stops in to say to the guys every now and then. In this one Geoff told him the basic storyline and with the exception of a few lines he had free reign. He choreographed Geoff's Monster Mash video. He can also be seen in2 of their minis/shorts as a pesky mall shopper.... Candy Crush Caravan Escalade and I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles). The captain's daughter is a whip with barbs on it the Captain used to punish people. I think they used the doll instead so they wouldn't have to whip Bucky. I love being a patreon of Geoff and Voiceplay. Their behind the scenes are so much fun to watch. I didn't know so much went into making a video until I saw my first btw last June 2022. Makes you appreciate them even more.
This one was so much fun! Watching Behind the Scenes is amazing. They really only have a couple of hours of blocking before they do the video recording. They have their vocal parts memorized, then learn the blocking and Ta Da, there they go! Fantastic!! You haven't taken apart Geoff's version of Shenandoah yet.

Sailors often were thrown out. The Captain's Daughter was a whip, so he has been beaten. The Scupper is a drain in the side that drained water off the decks. I understand that some had tanks on them that might hold waste for a time. These Pirates mean him harm. Are they going to rob and kill him? Or are they a Press Gang? Looking at Geoff, I suspect the worst. However, it looks like Jose my be the Captain. Hopefully he wakes with a headache, many mikes at sea.

Sea of thieves is surely piratical. This is not. It has more to do with the whaling ships , think Wellerman. These are the original words apart from the bridge, written by Geoff. The doll is just a joke.. Nothing erotic is intended. People today have one track minds. Layne is the crazy one. But drummers are said to be that. However Layne does approximatley half of the arrangements for VoicePlay so he's also very imaginaiive and creative.
just a little observation: when you're at the comment portion of your reaction, once you're done watching the video through, you have music playing during your talking. that is fine, but when you're showing parts of the video you are talking about, the background music is playing over the music in the video, making it pretty hard to hear what you are trying to point out in the video, and also making it quite unpleasant to listen to. I understand it would be quite a lot of work editing wise to not do it like that, but maybe an idea could be to turn the background music down a little bit? just a suggestion, I quite enjoy your reactions otherwise ❤❤
