Absolutely loved it ! Your packaging is so professional and thoughtful. Just one thing : all the social media cards, thank you cards, business cards, care cards.... just feels like a lot of paper to me. Maybe see if you combine some info so it's less cards and less damage to the environment ?

@@annaluciajager167 i'm glad that you reuse the bags! the main reason why i use plastic is to protect the items during shipping. not only does the plastic hold the items in place, it also protects them if the package were to tear in the shipping process. i'm not trying to hurt the environment at all, i just really want to protect the jewelry, so when the customer receives their package, everything is in great condition. i really appreciate you looking out for the environment, and i hope you understand my reasoning for using plastic! :)🤍

For the rings You should get cards that have the logo/name of your Business multiple times so you’re not wasting the rest of the cards (sorry if that somehow sounded rude or if you already do stuff like that)
Just a little tip for the ring, instead of cutting up one of your cards you could print the same size but with your business name all the way down and then you get more little tags in one :) (also your vids are really cool)

Brand new to your world and researching shipping.. just watched a diff chic video who uses your same bubble mailers and uses a stamp with it! So the shipping is so super cheap. She just went in and asked the post office to check her piece of mail to see if it was thin enuf. Of course can't do tracking or insurance on it but worth the free shipping option to some ♡
great idea! unfortunately for etsy of you don't provide a proper tracking number they can't protect you from customers claiming that their package didn't arrive. but that is a great option for a cheaper postage, it's just more risky! thank you for sharing! :)🤍

thank you! i am not comfortable sharing how much profit i made, but it also really depends on what you sell & what you charge for each item. my jewelry is pretty inexpensive, so if you sold more expensive items, obviously your profit would be different than mine! i'd say it doesn't hurt to try & to start by selling a few things at a time, in case you can't handle a business financially.🤍

great questions! before opening my shop i spent hours pre-making a bunch of items and organizing my supplies to make the making & shipping process as easy as possible. jewelry items usually take 2-15 mins depending on the item, and my macrame items usually take 45-60 mins. i base my prices off of the time it takes to make, the cost of materials, and within the same range as other competing etsy shops. thank you for your support on my videos!🤍🤍

I am also a small business owner and have a hack you could use to save money. If you use shredded paper or crinkle cute paper you know that it gets pricey so you can get a mini desktop shredder and construction paper and shred it if the shredder. It comes for a great alternative of shredded paper and crinkle cute paper

Hey Kelsey so me and my friend just recently opened our Etsy shop where we make bun wraps for ballerinas (basically little ribbons with flowers on it to wrap around your bun for Ballet to make it look pretty) and we haven’t gotten any sales yet. It has only been a few weeks so obviously we aren’t expecting anything big but we haven’t got one sale at all. We also have a few other people that make really good ones so we kind of have competition (except it’s not competition bc there’s are wayyyyy better than ours 😅) so I was wondering if you have any tips for new Etsy shop owners and how long did it take for you to get your first sale?
i will make a video going more in depth about tips to get sales, but i got my first sale on the first day i opened my shop. it was one of my friends, but after that, it took a couple days to get my next sale. i have sold my products on instagram before opening my etsy, so i did have a following and loyal customers before officially opening my etsy shop. i would recommend creating other social media's to promote your products (instagram, tiktok, and pinterest are some of the best & most popular ones)! having multiple platforms to bring in different customers is key to getting sales. i would also be sure to have great product photos, descriptions, and search tags that help people discover your products! as you get more orders, etsy will list your products over other competition, so that could be why you're struggling right now. but getting sales takes time, but i'm sure you will find success. i'm not a huge business, but i do have slow days/weeks where i get little to no orders. just be patient and trust the process! i wish you the best!🤍
