Lol I thought they both had a one night stand in the cave. But when I read Ac forsaken Haytham did love Zioo and spent many weeks camping with her.
Yeah and as Zioo while they both loved each other, Haythem was too focused on his work and the future, which is nice makes them human and complex then just simply Haythem just out right have one night stand
They actually had more than a one night stand. If you read the book it was a full blown fling.
Haytham truly loved. Him and his father Edward are my favorite characters of the games
@@scarlrtt13 could u tell me name of book pls?
@@zumatucker assassin's creed: forsaken
Just realized Connor Way of speech is really similar to zio especially 4:15 he has his father's face and his mom's personality
yeah he was raised by her after all
That explains why he is dumb.
They both also say, ”What do you propose?” A lot
2:36
Ziio - "Are you Touched in the Head?"
Haytham - "Me. Haytham. I come. In. Peace."
Ziio - "Why.. are.. you.. speaking.. so.. slow.."
Also Haytham in 2:58 - "Pleased to meet you, Godz-zio?"
lol The funniest part ( For me, Probably )
It was funny
@@hazelmundy7846 “Diio”
He’s so pathetically adorable in his scene as he scrambles to catch his breath
Zio: "Just call me Zio"
Haytham: "Dio?"
Zio: "Oh? You're approaching me? Instead of running away, you come right to me?"
Haytham: "What.."
Zio: "What?"
"You expected an indigenous woman, but it was me, Dio"
I like the trophy got after this mission, “how do you like them apples?” I believe which was so great finding out Haytham was a Templar
Haytham is full of charisma and he is a very suave man there's no way she wouldn't fall for him eventually, imagine what would have happened if they both raised connor like a normal family
You know I actually thought about this what if scenario many times. I think deep down Haytham could of been a good father and husband. But due to his strong belief system and his loyalty to the Templar cause. Ziio would never allow him to influence her or there son. The dynamic between Connor and Haytham was quite unique and interesting especially when Haytham admits that Connor is his son. He does have that unique gentleman charm. But both Ziio and Haytham would never be on the same page. But if they both was willing to abandon their causes and just be a regular couple. Then who knows what could've been.
Get a glimpse in the King Washington DLC.
Tasted the forest fruit
In the book it’s stated that Haytham wanted to kill this fella so he probably died
He really did. And out that came an awesome person. Connor Kenway
I miss Edward and his drunken ways
LMAOOO
Them berries were poisonous
honestly, I look back at this game...and wonder, how much better things would've been, had Templars like Haytham, and assassins like Connor come together, look at their ideals, and just...combine and make a third order. Haytham genuinely believed in the good of his order, he didn't know how corrupt the greater Templar Order actually was, that they killed his father, he didn't know that, the man got manipulated hard. Connor, likewise had no idea that Haytham had no clue as to how Ziio died. Had they just sat down and talked about their experiences, with Connor's mentor there to further discuss things, maybe true peace could've been achieved in the Americas, a third-order crafted in the United States that has all the greatest and good parts of both factions. Afterall, the United States is basically built upon what is essentially a mixed combination of both ideals while 'seeking a more perfect union'.
True peace was achieved in the americas....we wiped em all out.
Haythan knew that George Washington killed Ziio
@@joogullae3456 Tell that to the Comanche & Aztecs.
Haytham knew Birch killed his father, that's why we had the theater prologue scene. There's a whole ass novel called Forsaken about Haytham's story and how in his youth he used to think there could be peace between the orders but got disillusioned later in life
It's really sad how EVERY attempt to reconcile the Assassin and the Templar ideas always ended in tragedy in this series. Altair was an Assassin while his lover Maria was a former Templar, and though they successfully became a couple, it was more one-sided as Maria chose to renounce her Templar ideas entirely, and it ultimately ends with her dying at the hands of a fanatic member of the Assassin order.
Then there's Shay and the first generation of American Colonial assassins. The latter is too reckless in their pursuit of the Pieces of Eden that they didn't care about the massive collateral damages, which alienates Shay from the group and he ended up defected to the Templars, at which point communication is all but impossible and it ended with Shay having to kill almost all of his former friends.
Then comes Haytham and Connor, father and son who ended up on different sides and had no choice but to oppose each other simply because they're too stubborn in their idealogies to work out a compromise, and it ends with Connor having to kill his own father, which changes absolutely nothing in the big picture.
Then comes Arno and Elise, once again lovers on opposite sides of the war. They were probably the closest to reach a potential truce between Assassins and Templars, only to be once again ruined by circumstances that ends with Elise's death, ruining any chance at reconcilation.
Finally, we have Desmond and Lucy in the modern day. Lucy was an Assassin, but converted to the Templars after being disillusioned by the Assassin ideals, though she's implied to begin to really warm up to Desmond for real even as she's manipulating him for her own ends, and for a moment there might actually be a chance for her to atone for her defection, only to be cut short by Juno controlling Desmond to kill her off before she has any chance to make up for her mistakes.
It's like destiny always seems to intervene to keep the Assasins and the Templars seperated from each other.
This whole game was such a cool story line.
Wait so that’s how Connor was made dang haytham and ziio
U realized that now?
“Her hands still guide us-…”

i still remember first time playing this and it was at the very end when Haythem announced 'you are now a templar' that shooked me, am i rly playing an ac game😰
Me too
He literally has a super big Templar symbol on his back. At first I was like "Aw nah. That guy's a Templar? I wanna play an assassin, stop experimenting."
I loved Connor don't get me wrong, but playing Haytham was kinda more fun. I just replayed it last week ad now I wish fir a prequel.
Something I didn't think about until just now, but the way Ziio talks about the origins of the cave paintings, it makes me think if they tell the story of Juno and her efforts to push humanity in the direction towards her rule. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems strangely coincidental that a Piece of Eden that contains Juno's message just happens to be in the hands of Mohawk people, and Ziio's tribe no less.
Ac valhalla actually fixes this plot hole

Haytham's story is so sad and tragic. Orphaned by the very hands that would make him a templar, staying witht the order even after finding out, despite the fact that his father tought him to think for himself while templars want to take that from everyone else but them because they are the only ones that are fit to rule.
Gosh Haytham and his crew were awesome. Best parts of the game.
My only gripe in the haytham part of the game is that ican't climb trees
Ziio "youre hurt let me help"
Connor "recovered from your beating?"
LMFAOOOOO
I was hoping Haytham would be a good guy in the end
He was, just for the wrong reasons. Templars in AC3= Doing the right thing for the wrong reasons, Assassins in AC3=Doing the wrong thing for the right reasons.
Theme of the game was asking if the ends justified the means?
I just wonder what would have happened if Haytham had been around to raise Connor???
Connor might've become a Templar, or Haytham would've tried his best to keep him a secret and out of the whole secret conflict.
@@RubenMakaya yeah if haytham had been around the whole thing wouldn't have started cause haytham would know about burning down the village plan and he would straight away deny it and ac3 would have been a whole different game

What would happen if George Washington managed to recognize Conner from the way Connor speaks the way his mother did, or the way Connor's face resembles both of his parents?
15:40 Even at that moment, Haytham was too much of a gentleman to make love to her. She was the one who made the first move.

Loved this game combat mechanics
Calling this a love story is like calling Steven Seagal an actor...
Lol who’s this pin head? That’s not haytham
Did they ever address why Haytham is a bit more...how should I put this...swarthy looking for an 18th century British nobleman? But then again there's guys like Kit Harrington but he is still pretty fair skinned. You could say King Charles II but he was of Italian descent.
Not that there's anything wrong but the first time I saw Haytham, I thought he was part native or something.
Some Brits are very dark despite being fully British. Russell Brand is a good example. Collin Farrell is Irish but very swarthy too.
@@zach5025 That's true. Makes sense I suppose. If I recall Haytham also spent time in the Middle East where the climate is hotter when he was tracking down his half sister after she was sold into slavery by Birch.
Sean Connery is just as dark if not darker. Wales and southwest England, especially Cornwall, naturally produces people who are quite a bit darker-skinned than most northern europeans.
I have a theory that he was originally planned to be the Native American assassin but they still scratched that idea early on or they intentionally sought to trick that that this was the assassin and made his skin a bit darker intentionally along with arming with with a hidden blade, parkour skills and making him playable main character
Haytham is actually welsh. As his dad is Edward. Its very common for Welsh people to be darker
