When that really hot nightmare. Nurse monster said what are you boys doing in there or whatever it is. She said that is the funniest line in the entire three seasons. So far it timing was so perfect and done so well. I was rolling on the floor almost when it was meant to be a serious moment. I love how this show is able to bring levity to drama
My favourite funny moment was when Boyd called Father Khatri a shitty priest and then got mad at himself for swearing in the church while he was walking out 😂😂 first season definitely had the best humor
@@DiamondWoodStudios. "Father Katri drops a bomb shell double meaning line in SEASON 1 EPISODE 6, 6:00. The good Priest says "YOU WERE ALREADY HERE, WHEN YOUR VEHICLE CRASHED" possible hint dropped by using double meaning??? I think it might be possible. What are your thoughts???
As someone who has many family members that are military and retired military, Randal acts nothing like any military I’ve seen. Boyd is what military is more representative of.
Boyd Parkinson: iirc, parkinsons is passed through the maternal line (X) NOT paternal line (Y). If his father had it he has a significantly lower chance to get it than if his mothers father had it. I DO love how the writers are answering our questions and developing the characters and their relationships. BIW and Ethan growing isn't a bother to me. Thanks writers for addressing BIW's growth within the story, though!
Have you noticed that Victor's story with when he met the boy in white changed in S1 Ep4 Victor said the first time he met the boy in white was right before the two cars came but in S3 Ep 4 he said he met the boy in white in the aftermath of the massacre and for the longest time it was just him and the boy in white.
The narrative of From is the Hero's Journey, which is the sun's journey. Tabitha and Jade arrive at the start of the journey (summer solstice). They cross over from the ordinary world (Spring and summer) to the special world (fall and winter) at the first threshold (the fallen tree, the autumn equinox). The great ordeal coincides with the winter solstice, the death and rebirth of the sun, Revelations, the Abyss. That is why Fatima is the motif for Virgo and the miraculous birth, and she should give birth to a man-child, the man in yellow, Amun-Ra, the sun. It is also a psychospiritual quest with Jungian archetypes of the subconscious mind from the collective unconscious and complexes from the personal unconscious. The Boy in White is the unconscious self, the entity is the shadow self, the place From is a stage in the subconscious like the Big Other and the monsters are the repressed memories and trauma. All of the characters represent different archetypes. Miranda and Tabitha - Hero, Christopher and Jade - Magician, Donna - caregiver/mother, Ethan - Innocent/child, Randall - Rebel, Martin - Sage, Boyd - Ruler, Ellis - Lover etc. The model of the psyche also lines up with the Hero's Journey, the ordinary world is the conscious and the special world is the subconscious.
They're hinting randall was a marine. The green duffel bag from the bus, the separation from his rifle scene, the haircut, the type A attitude, being okay with being alone, adapting once he learned the facts...... #RandallisMartin Js. We've never seen his shoulder
I'd definitely be interested in seeing some backstory on him. The show runners said they're not gonna spend a lot of time on chsracters' pasts but I'm still curious!
@@jasonh908 I'm not sure how historically accurate they were going for; there were some elements to the Marine logo that were missing, like the fouled anchor chain, that I thought should have been there no matter the time period. I felt like they were just going for "close enough" visually to segue into the dialogue between Boyd and Martin. You're right though, I heard something similar to what you mentioned, I just can't remember how the person specifically documented it. 👍
Yo you’re right, and I’m not saying Donna is sinister but there was emphasis from Randall that she might’ve been “in on it” which is pretty wild writing-wise

Fatima is Virgo, the woman clothed in the sun, that's why she wore a yellow jacket in the flashback. She will give birth to the man in yellow, the sun reborn. Drinking blood and cannibalism are the roots of Christianity and Fatima is the virgin miraculous birth.

What if Randall is connected to Martin (man locked up in ruins). Did Martin have scars on his face like Randall has now?
@@fitch099 Maybe that's why Martin had his scraggly beard
Didn't they say Martin's marine tattoo was old though. Newer marines would have a different type of tattoo is what I remember reading
