    If the momentum of the show remains, MGM will definitely request a spin off. If I were in charge, I would have asked for a spin off series last year so it could be shown during the summer of 2025. The series would center on the pre 1978 massacre. In this way, interest in the series won’t wane beween now and early 2026.

    My theory, From is a mental projection , narrative expression of People playing a role playing game, quest. Maybe balanced by focussing on 7 players ( 6 childrens on stone + observer, here Jade )

    The Lighthouse: A point of mystery, potentially marking the final objective.
    The Game Master (GM)
    An unseen entity orchestrates the entire game.
    It sets the rules, distributes quests, and punishes deviations.
    Visions, talismans, and supernatural events are its narrative tools.
    Rules and Boundaries of the Game
    Day/Night Cycle: Day provides a phase for planning and exploration, while night becomes an intense survival phase with monsters.
    Talismans: Rare items that allow players to "bend" the rules, offering protection or strategic advantages.
    Personal Quests: Each character follows a unique narrative arc, enriching the collective gameplay.

    I hope this does not turn into another LOST drama. I lived through the LOST years and was yo-yo'ed through the many plot twists and tangents and mysteries that never got answered only to see an interview with the writers once ABC put an end date on the series, the writers had versed from the initial story line and added several tangents just to keep the contract going. It was devastating.

      I feel some may have not payed close enough attention when watching LOST. It seems to be a common misconception that it didn’t provide answers . That show answers everything by the end. None of the big mysteries or plot points were left unanswered. What the island really was, why they were brought there, the evil they were tasked with defeating, Jacob and his brother aka the smoke monsters origins and purpose, the dharma initiative and why they were there, the others, time travel, the strange properties of the island, even the polar bears on a tropical island was explained. The ending has also been misinterpreted as well, for some reason ppl thought it meant they were dead the whole time which couldn’t be further than the truth. Even the overall message of the show was completely lost on ppl. It’s not a Mystery show, it’s a show about learning to let go. Of the past, of their pain, of their trauma and to embrace those around you and move on together. Ppl really need to watch that show a little closer, the answers are all there.

    Im just going to share that since i said I dislike olive garden in chat ive gotten 3 or 4 olive garden ads an hour.

      @kristingallo2158 yea that gets annoying real fast. Simply mentioning something even just once leads to a ton of ads usually. Luckily I haven't seen any olive garden ads yet though 🤞
