Ok, we all agree Kawhi is an A+ tier as you agreed too. Now, they don't got that tier so the conversations is, is he closer to Steph, Lebron, KD than to Harden or Russ? I'd say he's closer to the 2nd ones.
@@Marrrrley I mean Kd has 2 finals MVP’s and 1 MVP, Kawhi has two finals MVP’s and 1 2nd place finish in DPOY, one of Kawhi’s finals MVP’s he was definitively the best player on the team the other it was arguable someone else was, Kd both of his finals MVP’s it was arguable he wasn’t the best on the team. Sure Kd is a better scorer winning 4 scoring titles in the decade but he made zero all defensive teams vs Kawhi who won DPOY twice made all defensive first thrice and made all defensive second team twice while also being a really good scorer (though not near Kd level) so Kawhi is really comparable to Kd, now Harden and Russ well while they both have an MVP and Kawhi doesn’t Kawhi does have a second place finish and unlike them Kawhi has two finals MVP’s while Harden and Russ don’t even have rings, plus Both Harden and Russ sure there better scorers and Hardens a better playmaker but Kawhi is mountains ahead in defence as Harden is notoriously bad on defence and Russ is an ok defender but no wear near all defensive level. Meanwhile Kawhi two DPOY’s and a ton of all defensive selections. The only reason why kawhi isnt really known or popular is because he is silent and private.
I think Kawhi deserves S, he’s not quite as good as players like Kd but he’s to good for A tier, he’s got 2 finals MVP’s like Kd but Kd has an MVP. However Kawhi came 2nd in MVP voting in 2016 and has 2 Dpoy’s as well as being a great scorer and a ton of all defensive selections
So I’d argue Kawhi is closer to Kd than Harden and Russ so yes I still think Kawhi deserves S even though A+ would be a better spot, personally I think Kawhi and Kd are closer to S minus than S but that tier doesn’t exist
KD is A for me…its been proven outside of the one thunder finals he can lead a team to high level winning outside of the Warriors
Nets are making the finals in 2021 if Kyrie or Harden don't get injured
Chris Paul being above Kyrie isn’t sitting right with me. Bringing up the 2018 rockets playoff run and chris injury, Kyrie had the exact moment with the Celtics. The Celtics could’ve beaten the cavs if Kyrie was playing. Adding in the chip and the moment in game 7, I feel like Kyrie should be in A as well.
Chris Paul is a better player than Kyrie. He’s a better playmaker and defender, only gap Kyrie has is scoring and yet CP3 impacted teams to winning, Kyrie helps as a 2nd option as a non 1st team player
@@MOCskodento be fair you can’t win with Chris Paul as your best player either or any other small guard but its only an indictment on kyrie’s career but not others🤔, Chris Paul is better but why is kyrie the only one criticized for this not other guards?, its weird as hell.
@@abtocool6350 you can win with Chris Paul if circumstances are in your favor, such as health, other teams not stacking their favor or your teammates health. Chris Paul still shows a positive impact for a team making them into contenders for nearly a decade (Clippers and Rockets + the Suns in his last two years)
@@MOCskodenwhat team was ky one that wasn’t a contender besides his rookie years in Cleveland? And u bring up health like injuries haven’t effected Ky whole career but if u say anything about injuries to a kyrie hater it’s part of the game until u say it about their favorite player
@@dabestgoat9367 he literally was on a Boston team that were contenders and Brooklyn itself was a superteam esque
I miss this era of the NBA
Kawhi in A tier is disrespectful. When Kawhi was on the Raptors he carried the team to a championship. He was a great defender in San Antonio. It’s crazy he’s in A tier. He should be in S tier.
Absolutely not cos of what? Let's be serious please.. someone that has missed around 40% of games?
and he was never "the guy" until 2019 which is way too late to say he's top3/4 of the 2010s
everyone else on s tier was league defining superstar for the majority of the 2010s
His load managing antics puts him in A tier. And that’s being generous
@BoxingisgoatedBoxingisgoated A tier? I can agree with that...S tier? Absolutely not.
@@junctHe wasn't "the guy" in '16 when he was All-NBA First Team and #2 in MVP votes or in '17 when he was third in MVP voting?
Kawhi should be S tier easily
Nah
so we forgetting cp3 and the mvp that he got stolen by the legacy mvp for mamba? damn
Bron should have his own tier spot
Westbrook above Chris Paul is a crime
Given only the 2010s sample, it's kinda hard to put Melo B even. He had that one scoring title but ZERO playoff success, his WCF was with Denver in 2000s. Bench guy multiple years. Sadly enough
I've always been a fan of basketball, but this year im trying to follow and watch it. I feel like Kawhi is S tier, like S- just because of the company he's in. CP3 is easy A tier, i remember that clippers team giving the warriors trouble. CP3 is the ultimate utility guy.
No mention of AD is crazzyy
The boogie disrespect is unreal
By the way if two of more players in the same categorie and one player is better than the other in that categorie you put the better player at the front of the section.😁
Boogie definitely belongs in B tier. The only reason he was cooked is because he got drafted by the fucking kings 🤦🏽♂️
Fr like that kings team has any real shot of winning a championship
yall didnt even mention the back to back dpoy kawhi won along with finals mvps in that decade
Do this for early 2020s please or 2020s thus far
They didn't state that memo only played 3 years in the 2010s
If just only OKC didn't fumble, they have 3 Top tier Superstar on their hands.
Harden wouldn’t have turned out to be what we saw if he stayed in OKC
I'd make it like
S Tier:
Steph, LeBron, KD, Kawhi
A Tier:
Harden, Kyrie, Dame, CP3
B Tier:
Russ, Jimmy, PG13
C Tier:
Melo, Wall, DeRozan
D Tier:
Boogie
But that's just me.
I agree with this list but I would probably swap Dame and Russ. 2010s Russ was a monster and he got an MVP while averaging a triple double. Although I like Dame, he never won a chip, mvp, or been acknowledged as the best of some thing in particular like the fellow A tier members. Great list though
@@Bb0yTaiOne Yeah I was kinda on the fence since both Dame and Kyrie didn't really get individual accolades, but I think people were blinded by the triple-doubles and forgot that Russ was a PG that couldn't shoot and was a turnover machine that couldn't get past the first round of the playoffs as the franchise player (or when he had a prime PG13).
Swap russ with dame
@@tiagolopes2740 Nah. Dame carried his team to the WCF as the only All-Star. Russ couldn't even make it past the first round with a prime PG13. KD and Harden are the only reasons he EVER got past the first round.
@@MistaWordz Remember Dame put Russ out the playoffs with that iconic dagger 3.
Damn I wish we were still in the 2010s
Ima have to pick kyrie for over Christ Paul. What has he done as a 1st option nothing same with kyrie however kyrie is a much better 2nd option player than Paul. He’s been to 4 finals and if I want a player to lead a team I’m taking kyrie.
I think PG, Dame and Kyrie should be A
Definitely, Arguably not dame but kai and pg fs
Hell nah. Kwahi and harden are definitely better. There's no room
@@Diego-fy6qzHarden I can see, but between Kawhi and PG they have similar awards but Kawhi just has chips because he had a better teams then PG
@BabyHueygotskills2 2 defensive player of the years? And kwahi led Toronto to their first ring. Even if what you're saying is true it's just a hypothetical. At the end of the day kwahi did it twice. Pg has never even been to the finals
@@Diego-fy6qz Kawhi has played with more all stars and all time greats. PG had led his Pacers to 7 and 6 against the Big 3 Heatles. Also Kawhi only got Toronto that ring because KD and Klay got injured bro I’m not saying he doesn’t deserve A but so does PG.
A guy that deserved to make this list: Anthony Davis. Multiple all nba selections, defensive team, mvp runner ups. He was a monster in New Orleans
MVP runner ups? How many times did he make the top 3?
@@SmartPsychopat1 just once
@@mayfield0707961 Yeah I know In 2018 but I was asking that question in response to your comment, you mean he should be in S tier?
@@SmartPsychopat1nah he’s not with those guys in S tier. But I believe he was the best big man of the 2010s. Def A tier no lower than B
@@mayfield0707961 Well he has a case, thinking about it now,the names that comes to mind are DeMarcus Cousins, Dwight Howard, Joel Embid, Kevin love,Green and Marc Garsol...
I don't know about him being outrightly the best if we want to consider green as a "big" man.
Unfair to say just because those three are in their prime and being older than most on the list
KD clears Curry in the 2010's. Better player mostly every year of that decade. He was clearly better in 2010,11,12,13,14,(15 injury) 17,18, and 19. He 4 scoring titles, MVP, 2 finals MVP, more All stars, All NBA.
22' ring and narratives got alot of people with revisionist history.
cp3 a tier easily hes on another league than any of the other players on b
kd being in s tier is wild move him to a tier also why is russ in a tier should be b tier one mvp is moving you how about you make it past the first round without kd
Kawhi is S tier 2fmvp and couple of dpoy
Putting cp3 over Kyrie and ky and champion shows the favoritism i didnt know we celebrated losing
“God can’t give us peace and happiness apart from Himself because there is no such thing.” - CS Lewis
chris paul should be in b tier
Unpopular opinion, demar>melo in the 2010s. Led that raptors team to much more success than melo and those knicks tbh and didnt fall off in the latter half of the 2010s (yes hes younger than melo but we are ranking them in the 2010s).
IF THERE WAS A A+ TIER
Kahwi & Harden should only be there
Chris Paul disrespect is crazy. He made every team he been on better. Russ was putting stats on OKC after KD left, but did impacted winning in any way?
Lebron, KD, Kawhi were the consensus top 3 players in the nba
Dame is Melo if he never left Denver. Which goes to show for both, it probably didn’t really matter if they left lol
Curry was relevant for half of that decade while KD was relevant for all of it lmao. What are they talking about Lebron and Curry was the face ???
Move KD, Harden, Westbrook, Melo, Dame all down 1 and then Kyrie up one and the list is alright
How is KD so solidly in S tier, when his only championships are with another guy in S-tier?
Because he is one of the greatest scorers of all time. 10th in all time points and 6th in per game.
I never thought i would see paul pierce be a C in the 2000s video (should be B at least) then jimmy butler in this video (2010s) in C who should probably be in D (or lowest of C). Pierce > butler. Finals mvp and championship needs more weight.
Don’t let the Texas guy cook. I don’t like kawahi because he beat my warriors. But two times champions, two times finals MVP, two times defensive player of the year deserves to be ins A tier and above KD
