I like the idea of doing VOO and SCHD with the weighting heavier toward VOO under age 35, an even split from 36-45, and the a heavier weighting toward SCHD at 46 and beyond. Easy peasy. No market research necessary if you aren’t a stock nerd like me or Ryan. 😂

One strategy might be DCA for growth in S&P500 then invest for dividend.. Investing for dividend at the beginning is safer but will take more time to increase your capital. 200$/month DCA for 5 years at 8-10% per year, then on 6th year start with dividend etf/actions is by far more rewarding than 3 to 8% per year on dividend with a small capital.
Just an opinion, build a capital then invest for dividend.

Guys I put more money on my core investment, the Accumulating ETF (VWCE) and less money on dividend stocks. Both are growing btw. Portfolio is on the green. However, I believe is much more safe to have a core not too volatile etf as main investment. Obviously this is my opinion. What do you guys think?

Looks like I’ll be maxing out my Roth IRA before end of year. After that, I want to open a taxable brokerage account and start dividend investing. I was thinking of picking one stock from each sector and making that my portfolio. That way im diversifying.

I do a % of my income regardless of what I make. 70% to live on and 20% to investing and 10% to savings. It's really closer to 30% investing since once i have 6 months of bills covered saved I stop allocating to savings and shift those funds to investing. The 70% to live never changes, as income increases it stays the same. This ensures as my income increases my living expense allocation increases along with investing and saving allocation.
