He’s not the fastest, in fact he’s a little slower than Pebbles, he’s not the strongest, and he can’t carry me very far with 310 stamina i believe. but he’s one of the most loyal ones and once you reach level four of horsemanship he’s the most loyal and i love him he just looks so sweet and he’s beautiful and he doesn’t run, not even during battle.
That moment you care to much about horse anatomy and notice that the mare and the stallions have the same model. So all the mare have the same parts as the stallion... That comment about Roach though made my day :D
Yes, I cringed when she talked about the Arab. Then seeing the horse with a relatively heavy boned frame and a big, straight box like head. No characteristics of the Arab. No deep concave bridge profile, no big emotive eyes. No lithe wiry body. All the models just look the same, but different coloured coats. Such a shame.
@@toothpik00 That's mainly due to the low budget of the game (with which they managed to accomplish so much, might I add). To compare the budgets of KCD with some triple A games: KCD $36 million, Skyrim $100 million, Witcher 3 $81 million and Red Dead Redemption (where the details of the world and differences between all the horses were really visible) $540 million.

It was actually quite straightforward: manual save, then go thru everything in one sit. This is mostly recorded as a one session, only edited to cut off redundant things. I buy a horse, take a look at it, then buy the next one from the list. Lost some money on it of course, but thats why I had the save before recording this ;)
Fun fact Hatatilta is a horse from a German book and movies series which was about a Apache, The books were written by Carl Mai, who intact never went to America him self, which is also why the guy who sells you the horse says that someone told him that it is from across the ocean, but understands German xD

None of the horses match their names which bothering me a little bit, like Bucephalus was a solid black horse and Pegasus should have pink skin and a white coat. Plus I am seeing rounding errors on the left and right sides of my screen. With the head armor on, both sides say a speed of '50', but with the head armor off, the left side states '57', and the right side (under the image) states '56'...
The stat difference is not a glitch. I have the Racehorse per (faster horse), you have the Heavy Duty Pony perk (more carry capacity). The rounding error is a glitch.
Pegasus is the fastest horse with base stat of 42 despite it being Tier 4. Jenda is the best horse due to overal stats but speed wise Pegasus is faster just by 2.
If this is true nowadays, they've changed the game after the fact. As you can see from this video, Pegasus has a base speed of 19, and Jenda has 41. So Jenda has over double the base speed compared. With a saddle and horseshoes Pegasus' speed is 71, Jenda 73.
Then you've got your choice between Pegasus or Sleipnir. Sleipnir carries more, but has less stamina and will gallop a shorter distance. Or you could, splurge on the price, go one speed point slower, and get Al-Buraq, who has better stamina than both of them (thus will run farther at high speed, getting better cross-country time) and carries just 7 weight less than Sleipnir. If you don't want to micromanage your travel, I'd go with Sleipnir.

Yes, putting on horseshoes gives different stats, as you can see in this video. Thats why in this video you can see the basic stats first and then the stats with all the gear on (max stats). You can't do that and check the stats properly without buying the horse. The video being shorter at the expense of accurate and proper information is not my idea of a good video. So I disagree with you on that.
Talk to guy at some different point of day, and make sure you're at the stable when you do. They don't do business outside of their business hours (like 9-18 or something), or outside the stable area.
OrcCorp yea that sucks.. I have pebbles and Kayanka.. I also grabbed a few bandits horses but like you said.. you can only have one at a time. I was planning on starting my own horse farm. Lol

well honestly, you gotta practice at rabbits until your bow skill and damage is high enough then go and take your best bow and arrows and kill that boar i would reccomend bow atleast level 5 to 7, if it is still too hard go deer hunting before they die easily and i dunno if its bugged or a feature xD but they don´t run away that fast on horse back. but you shouldn´t have any problems with a boar either it is easier than you think just practice and get a good bow mainly. there is tons of videos on how to get good weapons around already just check them out, Castle Pirkstein´s weapon chamber might be worth a look. There is a boar hunting spot left to the single tavern on the road it also has it´s own map marker to fasttravel to the right above it is a deer hunting spot. tbh just wander the woods and kill all rabbits you come across while doing this you should find what you are searching for :D

Also, the most speed gain comes from horseshoes, so do you have any? Or maybe the game has received a patch that changed things around?

You can clearly see all basic stats under the horse name before I equip anything. And the horse that has the most carry capacity without the equipment also has the most carry capacity with the equipment. Noble saddle with 4 bags give the horse 200 more carry capacity. The horse with the most carry capacity is Troijan, with 233,6 without equipment, watch at 4:48. Also taking the *Heavy* *Duty* *Pony* perk under Horsemanship will gain you 20% more horse carry capacity.

Realgamerz you need to be exceptionally fast in getting the cure back to Merhojed, and have to brew the cure yourself, Nicodemus takes like a day if you let him do it himself you wont make it in time
