    What's very interesting in P&S is that you never see a rate confirmation you get told what it pays and it's other interesting fact that the same load same distance where P&S paid $2.00 a mile which provides a whopping .53 a mile but another guy not at p&s got over $4 a mile. When you do a percentage that doesn't mean you get what is left after paying dispatch and the contract is 27% of the Rate not as stated. Get the Rate Con and contact the shipper as if you are leasing especially you have every right to and in percentage absolutely you should be getting the rate con. Also different dispatch different paying loads. Right now out of 2000 Inspections over 500 were put out of service in 24 months with 7 fatalities and 57 injuries 116 tows. There's your answer. Your first load and even 2nd will be great. O and P&S owns their own insurance policy so to get charged an arm and a leg why? You know why😮

    Loving the long in depth conversation you guve us that explains a lot if things un detail. Starting training over there in a few week. Been at Werner for 5 months getting paid 46 cents a mile and only getting around 1600-1800 miles a week. P&S 900 secure income if you dont make over that is already better then what im getting here. I dont live outside my means. Recruiter said i should be making in average about 1100 -1500 a week.

      Congratulations brother and smart move. Make sure you learn all you can about securement before you get out there by yourself and don’t be afraid to ask questions.
      Your recruiter is right. You should be averaging those numbers once you learn the lanes

    Yea, I've been here at P&S for 5 weeks, counting down to getting in my own truck and debating on a trailer too. With a trailer it's 77%. I'm sick of fixing other dudes neglect on this equipment! It's cost me 4 days of cash to fix their unfixed stuff! But I run and money is great so no complaints there! My DM l are getting to know each other and how we work and work together. LP is not for the weak of heart, but that's ok. The chain slingers will put it all on red and spin the wheel! 😅😅😅 good luck! See you out there somewhere.

    • @delgadotrucking
      @delgadotrucking  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, definitely not a fan of the trailer situation, but with that said, I would most definitely wait till the market improves before you take on two major commitments. We have a load capacity problem right now and forcing yourself to do just live loads would be a major hindrance I would imagine. Good luck out there and stay safe brother

      @@victoriaheffernan5275CPM is trash because companies are starting to hire rookie flatbed drivers at 47CPM to combat these freight rates. So LP drivers get the crap loads while the higher paying loads go to the company drivers. At this point i think Dispatchers are getting paid more than drivers because they get percent of every load from every driver they have.

      @@disgruntledveteran3698 well. dont do LP from a company that has company drivers. as a business owner it wudnt make sense to give the higher paying shit to somebody gettin a higher percentage. im telln u ive done both as a company driver n cpm was tha way. specially in a market where shit flucuates. when u add ya dead head ur nice lil 30 percent ends up being 52cpm...where i was runnin cpm i got 70cpm flatbed plus $30 for everyload tarp or no tarp. where im at now is owners only at 75 percent and thats the only dofference ive noticed
