*Tones!* [BRONTO SKYLIFT] - CALGARY Fire Department | Engine 23 & Aerial Platform 23 responding!

- Calgary Fire Department's Fire Station 23 in Southview responding with both appliances to two calls, directly one after another. For this reason, the alarm tones and announcements can also be heard.
Engine 23 ran a 2016 Spartan Gladiator Classic in this video (now they run a 2019 Spartan Gladiator Engine)
Aerial Platform 23 ran a 2006 E-One Cyclone II Bronto with 114' (this unit was relocated to Station 25).
Einsatzfahrten von Löschfahrzeug 23 & Teleskopmast 23 zu zwei Einsätzen direkt nacheinander. Für den zweiten Alarm (Aerial Platform) ist auch die Alarmierung zu hören.

Dankeschön :D - Wir bringen nicht alle Videos die wir machen sofort, dieses ist zum Beispiel ist von September 2018. Daher wirkt es vielleicht so, als ob wir ständig unterwegs sind - dabei nehmen wir uns oft Tage am Stück die Zeit um Aufnahmen zu machen und bringen die dann teilweise erst sehr viel später.

Those tones were probably upgrading a pre alert for alarms to an alarm response. Sweet video of the old trucks too!

what the heck happened to that gearbox for the aerial lol, straight up shifted into neutral while rolling out. Sorta concerning no?
It’s the worst one of the worst aerials in the city. The FD budget doesn’t have enough to replace em yet.
@@ChefMcToastEM that's really rough. I know E-One's are built to last, they're absolutely tough as hell. But I can't imagine the coniditions up in Canada with them.
@@ChefMcToastEM I'm sure the shifts who run them absolutely hate the truck. Do they not have maybe older spares? Like normal quints (Rear-Mounts) or something like that
@@pranaavsaravanan7625 They do, they’re just as bad on scene but a little better at the driving specs.
@@pranaavsaravanan7625 Our newest quint from 2019 is a temporary truck as well. It’s at 30 station near Mackenzie Towne
That is one of the 2 worst performing aerials we have lol.
Yep and the driver on that shift was just there to help out - he didn't know the vehicle very well and was hoping to have to make as few trips as possible that day. He had huge respect for the truck haha :D
