Thank you Watchouse. I know some of us fans were upset about the name change.
But, last fall I unfortunately went through a really violent experience. I had just started listening to this album.... man it got me through. Like a light in the fog. ❤️

Love the song. Best wishes. The last time I saw Mandolin Orange play was at Tipitina's in New Orleans right before COVID. It was magical. Also saw y'all at Duling Hall in Jackson, MS. Also magical. Thank you for your passion, talent, drive, and love for what you do. We walked from our Airbnb to Tipitina's early in the afternoon just so we knew how to get there. Andrew was outside holding his son and walking around. I so wanted to say something, but did not want to intrude on private family time. I really wish the best for Watchouse and your family. I wonder why Andrew decided he should be lead vocal, rather than Emily. It would be interesting to hear the contrasting voice. I like the song.
There are multiple interviews where they talk about this. Emily likes being the backup vocals. There are also a bunch of songs they sing where she is lead.

I love your music, been listening (and buying) for years now. BUT: "Watchouse" -- "Mandolin Orange" -- "Watchouse" -- The artists formerly know as . . . I don't get it!?!? Regardless, you still sound wonderful!

You've lost that rustic sound that made your music something to behold. As a fan this is where I take my exit your new music is so very disappointing dry and void of the feeling and American simplicity that your music used to have now you sound much more mainstream. Idk but I'm honestly disappointed to say that I really haven't liked much of anything I've heard since the name change which also I feel sucks. Best of wishes but I just don't enjoy your new sound or image
